    If anybody is interested, is seems the only way to get Woocommerce to output the price including VAT in the rich results schema is to input the price with VAT already added. Changing the existing pricing isn’t as big a job as I thought because you can do a bulk edit to update everything by 20% in one go. This has solved the problem as long as I only sell in the UK. I can’t see how you could get rich results which satisfy Google shopping ads if you sell to areas with different rates of VAT.

    Hi,
    AS far as I can work out, for any given product Woocommerce takes the price entered in the product listing and depending on the setting of “Prices entered with tax” creates two values for each product: price_including_tax and price_excluding_tax.
    The value displayed on the product page as the primary price is determined by the setting: “Display prices in the shop”.
    When I change the “Prices entered with tax” setting, without changing the prices, Woocommerce recalculates the two prices so the price I have entered becomes the price_including_tax and the price_excluding_tax is 20% less.
    So the plugin is still picking up the actual price excluding tax, which Woocommerce is now calling the price_including_tax as I have changed the settings. This is why the suggestion above didn’t work.
    The only way I can see to get round this is to take down my website, change the “Prices entered with tax” setting and re-enter the prices for all my products to include VAT.
    Before I do this – which I can’t test on one product as the setting applies to all products immediately, please would you confirm that:
    The Yoast plugin uses the “Prices entered with tax” setting to determine which price to use in the rich results, and then picks up the price_excluding_tax if it is set to “No I will enter price without tax” to put in the rich results.
    There is no way that I can get the plugin to use the setting “Display prices in the shop” to determine which price to put in the rich results?

    Personally, I would have though the rich results should reflect the display setting, as this is what the end user sees, not the setting for the way the data is entered in the backend. It seems a lot of effort to re-enter all the information when Woocommerce already has it in a perfectly logical place.
    If there is no other option, then that is what I will have to do.
    My issue is, I can’t test this to check that my reasoning is correct, before I re-enter all the prices, so I would be very grateful if somebody could confirm or correct my reasoning above, or ideally provide a way to tell the plugin to use the “display prices in the shop setting” rather than the data entry setting.

    That also changed all the pricing on my live site to show the price without VAT as the price with VAT so I have changed it back!

    No that hasn’t made any difference. I can try re-entering the price on the product listing including VAT but I was trying to avoid having to re-enter all my product data.

    Hi, I am running W3 Total Cache. I have cleared the cache in Woocommerce (again) and contacted the host who has cleared the server side cache. I have also purged the cache on the individual product listing. The rich results are still showing the price before VAT. So it doesn’t appear to be an issue with the cacheing.

    @devnihil thank you for replying so quickly. I have followed those instructions and I’m afraid it has not changed the rich results. They still have:
    valueAddedTaxIncluded http://schema.org/False
    and the price shown is without VAT.
    Do you know where Yoast picks that information from? I do enter the prices on the backend without VAT, but the primary price displayed on the page is including VAT and that is what I need to include in the rich results.

    On further searching through your support forum I found a work around by Natanleon
    which involves going into each product in the backend through the quick edit and checking an enable review tab which only shows in quick edit. This caused the reviews to show up again.
    Surely this is a bug that should be fixed? I don’t know what caused my reviews to disappear in the first place and the existence of this tab, the need to check it and the fact that it only shows up in quick edit is not shown in any documentation. It had never been checked before and my reviews had always shown up, so I don’t understand why it needs to be checked now.
    Natanleon’s post is over 2 years old, but it would be useful if it could be made more prominent if it is the only answer to the problem for people who have already checked for plugin conflict.

    Hi, as you suggest I have disabled all plugins (except WP-Staging as otherwise I can’t access my staging site) cleared the site cache and cleared the browser cache and the problem is not resolved. I have disabled WP-staging on my live site and this does not resolve the problem either.
    I have taken a new status report from the staging site with all plugins disabled shown below. Is there anything else you can suggest please?

    Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Yes, I am using https://booster.io/features/woocommerce-custom-product-tabs/?utm_source=module_documentation&utm_medium=dashboard_link&utm_campaign=booster_documentation

    via Woocommerce booster. The “remove tab from product page” for reviews is definitely unchecked.
    I did try deactivating the module but it didn’t make any difference.
