Review Tab has disappeared

My website uses woocommerce with storefront and has reviews enabled. These have worked well for years, but they are no longer showing. I have not changed any settings and have double checked that comments are enabled under settings and reviews are enabled under products. I have tried disabling all plugins except Woocommerce and still have the same problem. I have a custom tab set up with a booster module which is showing and working. I have exported the product data and the comment status is showing as closed for all products <wp:comment_status>closed</wp:comment_status>
I have purged all caches and resaved the minify settings.
The reviews / comments are showing in the comment sections and when I edit the pages, they are just not displaying.
I have linked to one page but the problem is site-wide. Is there something that can over-ride the WordPress discussion/comment and Woocommerce product / review settings? I have recently downloaded and installed, but not activated, a trustpilot plugin but then decided not to use it and deleted it. Could this have over-ridden the settings? I did try deactivating the module but it didn’t make any difference.

I’d recommend doing a full conflict test to see if other plugins may be the cause here. The best way to do that, is to do the following:
– Temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront (the parent theme — not a child theme)
– Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
– Clear your browser cache, and the cache on your site if you have one there.
– Check if the Reviews tab is visible again.If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your child theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until the problem appears again. This will then give you an idea about which plugin is the one causing the conflict.
If you see that the Reviews tab still doesn’t show when your site is on Storefront, and WooCommerce is the only plugin active, let us know.
Hi, as you suggest I have disabled all plugins (except WP-Staging as otherwise I can’t access my staging site) cleared the site cache and cleared the browser cache and the problem is not resolved. I have disabled WP-staging on my live site and this does not resolve the problem either.

On further searching through your support forum I found a work around by Natanleon
which involves going into each product in the backend through the quick edit and checking an enable review tab which only shows in quick edit. This caused the reviews to show up again.
Surely this is a bug that should be fixed? I don’t know what caused my reviews to disappear in the first place and the existence of this tab, the need to check it and the fact that it only shows up in quick edit is not shown in any documentation. It had never been checked before and my reviews had always shown up, so I don’t understand why it needs to be checked now.
Natanleon’s post is over 2 years old, but it would be useful if it could be made more prominent if it is the only answer to the problem for people who have already checked for plugin conflict.
