Various additional customization options will be available in v.2.1, which will drop in April 2013.
This issue is related to compatibility among legacy versions of the plugin. It’s been addressed and will be fixed in v.2.1.

In reply to: [WordPress Pagination Plugin: Page-Links Plus] custom post type?Hi, openinteractive:
Just FYI, we’ve worked custom post type support into this upcoming build. It’ll be part of v.2.1, which will drop early next month. As a purchaser, I’ll email you the updated files when they’re ready.
Thank you again for your purchase and for taking the time to let us know about this important feature upgrade.

In reply to: [WordPress Pagination Plugin: Page-Links Plus] custom post type?Hi, openinteractive:
I appreciate you letting me know about this limitation. During development, I’m positive we didn’t target custom post types, but I’m going to add this into the development calendar.
Early next month, we’re going to release an updated version of PLP (2.1) filled with bug fixes and functionality updates. I’m going to see if we can squeeze custom post support into the build, but, if not, the feature will certainly be included in v. 2.2.
Many thanks again for your purchase and for alerting me to this limitation.

In reply to: [WordPress Pagination Plugin: Page-Links Plus] custom post type?Hi, openinteractive:
First, thank you for your Page-Links Plus purchase.
Second, we’re happy to help you resolve this issue, as we’re able. Two initial troubleshooting suggestions follow:
First, make sure your theme contains the
wp_link_pagesfunction (http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_link_pages). This function usually appears at the bottom of a theme’s page.php/single.php template or in your footer.php file. You won’t need to use any parameters in the function, since you can manage these via PLP. As such, a simple
<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>will suffice.Second, make sure you/the theme are wrapping your content in best-practices HTML tags (e.g.,
<p>,<ul>, &c.). Page-Links Plus leverages those tags in a number of ways.If neither of these theme adjustments fixes your issue, please let me know.
Thanks again for your purchase.

In reply to: [WordPress Pagination Plugin: Page-Links Plus] no localisation possibleThank you for your feedback, Avantart.
Your first request, customizing the words “Single Page,” will be part of our next build (v.2.1), which should drop this quarter.
I’ve made a note to integrate full localization options in the next build after that.
Thanks so much again for this helpful information.
Hi, launcherland:
First, thanks so much for your recent purchase of Page-Links Plus.
Second, Studio Hyperset has identified and fixed a number of PLP bugs, and while we haven’t released the new version to the public yet (as of 2/9/13), as a purchaser, I want to share the updated files with you directly.
Please email me at info@studiohyperset.com, and I’ll send you a working beta version of the PLP files.
Thanks so much again for your purchase.
Hi, Adlane:
I wonder if the issue isn’t theme-related.
PLP leverages the “wp_link_pages” function:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_link_pages
If your theme uses an older function — e.g., the depreciated “link_pages()” — PLP might not work.
The same result as what, exactly?
Hi, Adlane:
I manage a “clean” install of WordPress 3.5, which is running the Twenty Eleven theme and no plugins save Page-Links Plus, and I’m afraid I can’t recreate the problems you describe. As such, I assume the issue lies elsewhere, most likely with an outdated version of WP or a conflicting theme/plugin.
Also, make sure you’re wrapping your content in best-practices HTML tags (e.g.,
<p>,
<ul>, &c.). Page-Links Plus leverages those tags in a number of ways.Keep me posted on this issue, and share screenshots if you’re able.
