In reply to: [SSL Zen β SSL Certificate Installer & HTTPS Redirects] Server instability@edicichy When you uninstall the plugin we remove all the files that our plugin adds. So I can assure you that the error you are facing is not related to our plugin.
If you still have doubts, you can go to your plugins folder and check if the SSL Zen folder still exists, if it does, simply delete it.
A good way to debug the issue would be to turn on WP_Debug in your wp-config.php file or disable plugins through your FTP and find out which plugin is responsible for the issue.
If you still have questions, feel free to ask us.
@cincitech Based on your feedback, we now alert users if they install the plugin in non-working environment.
We’ve also fixed the support on the website when you reported it. All forum support tickets are now answered in 24 hours.
Thanks for your feedback and feel free to change your rating if you think we have addressed your issues.
@ipstenu It’s been more than a week and the user hasn’t responded with more details as you asked.
If a review is lacking in detail, do you delete them?
If this review helps others, I’m all for it. If not, would you mind deleting it?
Thanks
@ipstenu I see your point and I agree with you. I could have handled this better. I let my anger get the better of me.
This could have been a support ticket and I would have been more than happy to help the user.

@ipstenu the user’s original review said – FAKE . THΔ°S Δ°S MONEY PROGRAM

@jdembowski oh I wouldn’t ask you to remove my reply. I stay by my words. If I think something is unfair, I believe I have a right to raise my concerns.
I did get β Uh-oh! Avoid plugin β and this plugin money.
– Our plugin automatically detects if we can install an SSL certificate on a website. We also mention the pre-requisites in our readme.txt
PREREQUISITES
Linux Hosting, cPanel, PHP 5.4 and above, OpenSSL, cURL, PHP directive allow_url_fopen should be on, SSL installation enabled for cPanel. If the user decides not to read it and still expects the plugin to install an SSL certificate on a system that’s not supported, I don’t understand how this review is fair.
This is similar to installing a shopify plugin on a WordPress website and expecting it to work because it works in Shopify.Like you said the review lacks information and I wouldn’t call it a review as it has no details. I hope you will take necessary action.
@dingledoink Please write to us at support@ourpluginname.com and we will get back to you. There are thousands of websites who have successfully renewed their SSL certificate, so I can assure you that it works, I can take a look at your website and figure out why it’s not working.

User goes around rating plugins 1 star because they provide a pro version and he expects them to be free.
I don’t think this is a fair review.
Hello @scarecr0w12
The plugin is targeted toward non-technical users who want to install the SSL certificate via WordPress and automatically re-direct http to https.
GoDaddy, for example, does not support LetsEncrypt and a lot of our users want free SSL certificate via LetsEncrypt, that’s the need we are trying to cater to.
I hope I have answered your questions, feel free to reply or ask more questions.
@sevenhelmets I agree with you. We have totally removed the donation notice in the next version, expect it to be released in 2-3 days.
Like you said, if the plugin has helped you, do rate us 5 stars π

@thenovice89 Thanks for trying our plugin. Is it possible for you to email us your website url at support(at)sslzen(dot).com ?
Mod – The user wants to delete the review but is not able to. Is it possible for you to delete the review? Thanks in advance.
@riipah You can’t delete a review, but you can edit it and the associated rating.
Here’s how –
To edit a review, you simply go to the main Reviews section for that plugin. Your review will be pre-filled in at the bottom of the page, in the same place you originally left the review. You can also simply go to the main pluginβs page and click the rating stars, like you were rating the plugin again. This will take you directly to your existing review for editing it.
