In reply to: Converting existing website from FrontPageI am copy and paste into Dreamweaver. Since my web server does not support FP extensions (things that make the submit, counter, etc work) I am hoping that the server will support FTP protocol. HTML is HTML and so far it looks like Dream weaver will except and display my FP pages just like they did before. Now I gotta see if I can get the other functions working.
I did have one programer send me a copy of what my home page would look like in WP. My hyperlinks were on top of the text and not to the side.
I also have our club’s website on 1&1 web page. I can make it work on there format (not sure what it is maybe WP?)but you cant just copy/paste your text, and pictures easily, and downloads need to be in PDF files.

It is still a little confusing. I also ran a add on craigslist for doing the conversions because I am too old to reinvent the wheel.
So far I go over 50 responses….

In reply to: Converting existing website from FrontPageOk, I have been reading on how to convert FP pages into WP. Now my question that I cannot find answered is the following:
i have a secure SSL order form that when someone purchases a product and hits the SUBMIT (ORDER) button it generates a email to me so I can process the order.
Will WP allow me to keep that function when the FP pages are converted?
