In reply to: HTML editor doesn’t workYup, as a Mac folk I’m dis-chuffed that webkit browsers won’t do the visual rich editing thing (and I don’t see even the imminent release of Omniweb 5.5 curing this) but I always carry a copy of Camino around – that works just fine.

In reply to: Rich editor html popup emptyI’ve tried the Safari Stand plugin with Debug menu and User Agent (set to Mozilla 1.1 and Netscape 7.0) and get the same results as for spoofed Shiira – i.e. don’t try the Visual Rich Editor or html edit.

In reply to: Rich editor html popup emptyHi guys,
Fairly new to this, but now we have the visual rich editor, I’ve been using it without error in Camino – and yes and the popup html editor has been working great guns. (My default browser was Safari, but gave up trying to edit with it immediately as you all know it doesn’t do rich html, never mind the visual rich editor.)
Additionally, I was chuffed when I tried the latest nightly of Shiira; when spoofed as Mozilla/Netscape/Explorer the rich html features work a treat – didn’t think webkit browsers did this.
However, I tried the visual rich editor and although it appears to work, all your entries are lost after the save. Same applies with the popup editor – it does show content, you can add to it and it appears in your post after it is closed – but is lost when saved.Related problem I have no idea, but though it worth a mention.
