I did everything right, but I had the path incorrect for the new domain. That was exactly the problem. Thanks so much for your help!

In reply to: Moved WP to new domain and now cannot upload new imagesThe upload path is still looking to the old domain. when I tried to change it, then all of the old images were missing, which was strange, because the permalinks show they are recognized as being from the current domain.
