    Yes I would have to agree. I tried all night to figure out whats going on and came up with nothing. I think later today I’m taking it all down and rebuilding from backup.

    Yes something is really wrong.

    Not only can I not login but I just tried to register as a new user and I got this error:
    ERROR: Couldn’t register you… please contact the webmaster !

    This is getting really annoying.

    Thanks Andrew for the link.

    I downloaded it and then uploaded it to my server (after deleting the theme-my-login directory) and it’s still fails to let me in.

    Its still counting down with this message:
    ERROR: This account has been locked because of too many failed login attempts. You may try again in 1 hour.

    I have a feeling after the hour is up I still won’t be able to get in because right now none of my logins are working.

    I will try again in an hour. Any other ideas from anyone?

    Still doesn’t work.
    It’s still counting down… says I have 2 more hours to go. However, my other logins are still just refreshing and not letting me in.

    Maybe I don’t have the right version.

    I have a backup from a few days before this happened. If I don’t find a way in soon I guess I’ll have to wipe out my instance of wordpress, reinstall it then restore the backup. I really don’t want to do all this so if you have a better way please share.

    How were able to roll it back? I can’t get in to do anything. I went into my plugins folder and renamed theme-my-login thinking that would as good as deleting it with the safety of being able to put it back if I needed to. Now I’m getting the default WP login screen but I still can’t login.

    I got it working… not the exact way I would have liked to get it to work.

    I wound up creating a php file (didn’t really matter it could just as well be a txt file) and uploaded it my server. This file is the file that I will be updating just like an html page. Every time it gets updated two of my pages will pull the html from it and place it on my pages. The two pages have a shortcode like this on them [do_widget “PHP Code”].

    To make this work I installed two plugins, the first one is called PHP Code Widget. This is the one that gets PHP included working through widgets.

    Now, to be able to call a widget anywhere on my pages I installed AMR Shortcode and Widget.

    Hope this helps anyone else that wants to do the same thing.
