I read your query and noticed that you are not happy with the plugin overall. I would like to suggest, please check our live documentation with “Quick Guide” setup to check that plugin installation and configuration steps.
If you are still facing an issue with the plugin then check “FAQ” section with the same documentation.
And one more thing, I would like to say that you should first try to reach support system/portal whatever provided by plugin authors before writing bad review. Please create a support ticket at our support portal with your required helpful details. So, our support team can reach you asap to resolve your issue with Blog Designer plugin.

We have worked on that new requirement and found the point that session is not working with https://pantheon.io/ hosted site.
Please go to plugins folder via FTP or any file explorer tool and rename that ‘blog-designer’ plugin folder to different one.
Yes, we first need to deactivate Blog Designer plugin.
Now, install and active one more plugin – “WordPress Native PHP Sessions” to maintain session with pantheon.
Now, rename that blog-designer plugin folder once again back to original folder name. And then activate Blog Designer plugin from backend panel.
(For ref., you can check our setup link – http://dev-blog-designer.pantheonsite.io/. we tried to switch themes and activated number of plugins with the setup and everything working fine now)
Let us know back if you are still not activating plugin from your end.

Please make sure you have latest version of plugin. I think that option already we added as separately with free version plugin as well.
All users don’t required that functionality/option because they are happy with the default WordPress standards. So, we just separate that option for page builder editor users.
Please update your plugin copy (free version) to latest one and please check once you got the solution or not.

Let me inform you that there is no restriction to use blog designer plugin with any number of plugins and themes. If you are facing an any conflict issue with any themes and plugins then please create a screenshot for reference and share those plugin + theme names as well. So, we can create that same exact setup our local server to check that possibilities.

We noticed that you have same query with our support portal as well and we replied there as we added that plugin feature back with free version plugin.
Please update your plugin copy to latest one and try to use that new option under “Post Content Settings”.
