  • Hi @derkopp

    Thanks for your question!

Is there any way how I can add additional fields (custom_label1-4) to the product feed generated by the plugin, so that I can create collections based on those labels?

I understand that as Facebook says, it’s possible to add custom label to the feed used to synced products into Facebook catalog:

For example, you could add a custom_label_1 column in your data feed to indicate items for the summer season.

However, the feed generated by Facebook for WooCommerce at the moment can’t be modified to do so.

I am wondering, alternatively, if you want to try to create a collection based on category on WooCommerce as explained here instead.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @laurynass

    Thanks for your question!

“Menu” and “search” buttons does not work in mobile. If testing on PC mobile version – everything is fine. But then grabbing a phone and checking on it- does not do a thing.

This is likely caused by a conflict with with another plugin.

    How to test for conflicts

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to:

    1. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. You can do this manually or use a plugin to help (see below for tools).

    2. Try to reproduce the problem again. If the problem is resolved, it is a plugin conflict. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step.

    3. Reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

For more detailed instructions, check out How to test for plugin and theme conflicts: ).

Please let us know how that goes.

    Hi @alex_stoiu

I am using Woocommerce 5.6.0 with Stripe as the payment gateway (which was also integrated when installing Jnews and its related plugin Jnews Paywall). I am not using the Woocommerce Stripe Gateway plugin. If you have any other ideas that I should try further, please let me know.

As you’re not using Woocommerce Stripe Gateway plugin, I’d suggest to continue the talk with the Jnews Paywall team as you said before:

I’m guessing that I should take this discussion up with the Jnews team.

    On your other statement:

Regarding the translation of the placeholders inside the credit card form, I’ve added the custom code inside my Code Snippets plugin (adding it to my theme’s functions.php file broke the website), but to no avail. Once I change the browser language back to English, the placeholders show up in English as well.

I am not too sure about how browsers behave to the checkout page. Also we can’t really provide any troubleshooting related to custom snippets.

Therefore, my hands are pretty tied.

If you need help with custom snippets, I highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @gavindelaney25

    Thanks for your question!

our ads manager has told us we need to configure consent mode with our google account

My understanding that the consent mode is that you are like telling your site visitors that you’re tracking data to be used with ads, and you need the visitors consent to be tracked.

It’s not something that our plugin can do but you can try using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/uniconsent-cmp/

It’s said to be working for Google Ads Manager issue as well.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to let us know!

    Hi @mgc

Our developer has responded that we haven’t able to replicate the issue.

But a bug report now has been filed to investigate this further.

I’ve since rolled back to 2.8.4 and there’s no issue with that.

For the time being, as a workaround, you can keep using the above version.

If you wish to get alerted on the development of the bug report, feel free to create a ticket on our website directly.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

For now, I’ll close this thread!

    Hi @indigojones66

    Thanks for your reply!

Actually my theme developer sent some code but that did not work.

    That’s not good 🙁

I use the same environment and unfortunately I don’t see the same option for stacking columns on mobile.

I got only stacking on mobile for media and text block.

Again, it seems that your scenario is a bit complex and we tried our best to provide some custom CSS.

However, I am afraid that our hands are tied due to this being customization.

I’d suggest that you continue to work with your theme developer or you can try contacting one of the services on our customizations page here – https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    Hi @terrytopsis

    Thanks for your reply.

I see that Cron isn’t enabled in your site, not sure if you’re using an alternative Cron system. If you’re not, please kindly enable WP Cron.

Secondly, are those products that are not synced approved by Google, not under any review/being flagged?

We certainly can investigate deeper through our ticket system, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

    Hi @colyz93

    Thanks for your feedback!

    1st Notice:

Fix your audience source that’s sending a required parameter that doesn’t match your feed

    2nd Notice:

Your campaigns can’t tailor dynamic ads based on user activity when the required parameter doesn’t match your feed. Make sure the audience source is sending the required parameter correctly and your feed has the right items.
Recommended because your campaigns use a remarketing list that depends on an audience source that has a mismatch between the required parameter for your business type and your feed

    3rd Notice:

    Bid strategy misconfigured
Your campaign is running with limited performance
Add remarketing lists with active users to improve your performance and coverage

These looks like related with running paid ads probably. Did you see them on Google Listing & Ads dashboard on WooCommerce or on Google Merchant account on Google?

As these are related with running ads on Google directly, we highly recommend you to reach out to Google Merchant help here to understand what those notices mean and how to resolve them.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    Hi @nilewm

For some reason woocommerce is not recognizing my WordPress login info so I cannot contact support that way.

Not sure if not recognizing it means that our system told the login details were incorrect?

Feel free to reset your password following the guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

Also, feel free to create a new WordPress.com account, and then use this new account to login to create an account on WooCommerce.com so you can create a ticket there.

    Hi there @c3lab

Thanks for your reply and sharing more information related to your setup.

I saw your status report and WP Cron is disabled, are you using an alternative cron, could you please confirm?

Cron is required to ensure product sync and update work.

Secondly, you’re also using WP Rocket caching plugin.

Could you please complete the following and see if that resolves the issue?

    1) – Clear caching done by WP Rocket

    2) – Clear WooCommerce transient data here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)

    3) – Force resync manually that products: WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, sync products

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @dbranson

    Thanks for your reply!

Facebook has the items and has created an FB shop, but no IG shop. I now think that the issue is actually in something with the FB account setup. In that case, do you think it still makes sense to create a support ticket with you folks, or would it be better to seek support at FB?

As we don’t see any massive report of similar issue, we’re still interested to look further into your case to see what might have caused synchronization not working properly.

So feel free to create a ticket as suggested previously.

    Hi @wonadoomore

It is now fixed. I logged into my stripe account and then ran a test again and it worked every time after.

I am happy that it’s fixed now.

I’ll go ahead close this thread for now.

    Hi @landed

    Thanks for your reply!

Yes I claimed it already. Know all about how to claim a url.

This doesn’t address my issue. I still cannot connect this plugin to an existing account.

There is only the option to make a new account. I prefer not to do that as it isn’t really good practise.

If you want to connect to an existing Merchant account yes that’s possible.

Here is my setup where I was able to select an existing account:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/yXNXf4

If you’re not seeing an option to select an existing account, please make sure to do the following:

    – Make sure you select the correct Google account where the Merchant accounts you want to connect is located

    – Make sure it’s not a Multi-client account, because such account isn’t supported yet, so you will need to create a new account to be used with Google Listing and Ads.

    I hope that helps!
