In reply to: 3.1.1 multisite Network Admin errorI have exact same problem for almost a month (since 3.1 upgrade).
I posted several questions, I read and tried almost everything. I even upgraded manualy to 3.1.1 (automatic upgrade doesn’t work, as well as Network admin, Install new plugins, Editor… and who knows what else – I have blank screen.)
At one thread I read solving problem by changing wp-config:
define(‘SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE, 7)
define(‘BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE, 7)Author didn’t explain why “7”, default is “1”, but he had 7 subdomains. So, I have 2 subdomains and I tried with 2 – but nothing happens.
The site is working, in fact I can do whatever I want (via FTP), but it is annoying

In reply to: Network update under WP 3.1oh no… I never updated Network – I can’t access Network admin at all.. I can’t access Install new plugins, Editor…, either.
It’s been happening since I upgraded to WP 3.1, and now even to 3.1.1. manualy.
I also have blank page (in Firefox). Try different browser, you might get some message.Forum: Networking WordPress

1.7.4. + WP 3.1. = working.
Nevertheless, 3.1. did made lot of problems.
Deactivate all plugins and find out which one make the trouble (Pretty Photo is notorious).Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Network admin doesn't work since 3.1. upgradeI renamed plugins directory via FTP. Now I can see all plugins, but I still can’t see Network admin, nor some tools from Dashboard.
Sites are working (so far), but I am bit affraid.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Network admin doesn't work since 3.1. upgradeI deactivated plugins, but nothing happend. There are some plugins I can’t reach, I suppose that those are installed on Network level.

In reply to: Can't access admin on new sitesResolved… I found it here.
The problem was that I created subdomains in CPanel. (I don’t have access to httpd.conf).
Actually, you should create subdomain named “*” in CPanel, and than manage your subdomain names via WP !
Logical, but I still think that it should be stated in Guide, lots of hosts do not allow httpd.confForum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: How to change backgroung image on The Scenery themeThere is a image file called: “11670011000.jpg” in the theme folder, you can either:
* replace it with your own image file before uploading the whole theme folder to your server
* or if you have already uploaded the theme, put your own image with the name “11670011000.jpg” to <Your wordpress installation folder>/wp-content/themes/the-scenery to overwrite the old onecited from author’s site
