That’s a great help thank you Oliver!
Thank you very much Oliver.
I’ve upgraded to v2.5.3 and removed the hamburger text – brilliant!
It would be useful to be able to:
- range the site title and site description further left to align with body text on mobile
- have more control over the little jpeg logo ‘Olley Pottery’ I have added on the left of the Nav bar (mobile and desktop). To be able to centre it…
a) vertically
b) relative to the l/hand edge, again to align with the other text

That works thank you!
However – on mouse-over it now shows a condensed enlarge image?

In reply to: [Fukasawa] problems logging into FukasawaHave fixed this it was theme/child theme clash possibly arising due to WordPress core update.
maybe it’s poss to prevent that loop by stopping it counting the number of entries?
Thank you very much I am getting somewhere.
The alphabet search does seem very slow loading, do you think that is down to theme or to be expected?
Also, would it be poss to have an ‘alphabet’ style of search to be based on something numerical in a different column, for example fifty year periods 1600-1650, 1651-1700, 1751-1800, etc?

Very many thanks
Just two things…
1) The letter D in alphabet search list is different colour, can it be changed?

2) Can word ‘Search’ be removed, it seems unnecessary?
Cheers!

In reply to: [JQuery Accordion Menu Widget] Sub nav based on pageI have stated to use Advanced Sidebar Menu which automatically creates sub nav menu based on child/parent relationship. However, I also need menus to be accordion style due to large number of grandchildren to hide/display.
The other option is to combine JQuery Accordion with “Display Widgets” plug in. The Display Widgets allows you to select for which pages (or categories) any given menu appears.

In reply to: How can I categorize my pages?Silly me, I don’t need that button – cause there’s an edit button in the black bar above!
I’ll call this post resolved now thank-you, Knut.

In reply to: How can I categorize my pages? Thanks again!
I’ve set the CSS to display none…
/* remove display of meta from posts*/
.page-header {display:none}
.entry-meta {display: none;}Only thing is, I’ve lost the little ‘edit’ button at bottom of post, so I can’t quickly get into post for editing : (

In reply to: How can I categorize my pages? Many thanks, it is exactly those ‘taxonomies’ that make it look bloggy – perhaps if they could be stopped from displaying (with a widget?).

In reply to: Theme ideas needed please…Many thanks Esmi
It’s not ideal, though if it made the site otherwise easy to administer it could be bearable. I guess it sounds a bit silly to you?

In reply to: Theme ideas needed please…I wonder, as this site would have 8-9 quite big categories/chapters, would it be ridiculous to host as 8-9 ‘sites’ to give us nice manageable client control over the widget menus etc and very little extra coding?

In reply to: Theme ideas needed please…Esmi, thanks very much, definite food for thought.
