I experience a similar problem.. The first installation and blog was her in this url, http://10monochrome.wepoint.in/wordpress
I wanted to power the root directory of my site i.e. http://10monochrome.wepoint.in
So I changed the website URL from General Settings to the target directory.
Copied the index.php file and .htaccess as well. The required change in the get file text line was done as well. But all I could see was 500 internal server error.
Can anyone here help me.. I dont know how kingscoop even got to enter the dashboard.. I cannot login to the Dashboard of the site which was located at http://10monochrome.wepoint.in/wordpress/wp-admin/
