Hi Natalie
I’m not ignoring you! I’m reluctant to deactivate Image Mapper as it took an age to get the hotspots right on that one. So I’ve been trying the test page as it stands on other browsers and computers – with different results each time. Sometimes I get the hotspots in the right place (and it looks way better than Image Mapper by the way), but after clicking on it, they disappear, and the image doesn’t appear to have any links again.
So I don’t know what to do at the moment.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Text Area WidthHi – I’d like to do this too, but I’d rather try some custom CSS. What’s the tag(s) for the message box/textarea? Does it have a width value?
Thanks,

Thanks for looking, what browser are you using?

In reply to: [Sketch] Html for table cellpadding and cellspacingHi Chad
Thanks so much, that works great across the board. But is there a way to adjust this for individual cells? For example – http://www.shospace.co.uk/library – my greyed-out cells underneath the column headings, I’d prefer to have 0 padding. Also, can I specify the cell height for cells with no text like this?
Incidentally, is the CSS set to give the table itself a big top margin? On both the above page, and http://www.shospace.co.uk/crash, the margin above my text (below the menu line) is bigger than I would like.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Sketch] Header spacing/alignmentOnce again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Brilliant, responsive, simple and it works.
Genius.

In reply to: [Sketch] Menu customisation and site title questionYou are, quite frankly, amazing!
Forgot to mention my site, but yes you got it right. And the fixes are brilliant. And thank you for helping. And thank you for taking the time.
And generally being brilliant.
I’m doing some early stage tweaking, got another couple of questions to follow in a different thread, and hopefully that’ll be enough to get building properly…
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Spacious] Widget text customisationWell now I’m not sure it’s a conflict – from the reload of my site with 3 plugins needing updating (where it all seemed to be working fine), I deactivated them all and then tried only the NextGen update, but the same blank screen happened.
If there’s further info. on this, and what you need to diagnose the issue, I’d be happy to follow up. Otherwise thanks for your help to get me this far!
Sheona
Thanks Cais
Yes, definitely down to a plugin conflict – I’ve worked out that it happened when I updated 3 simultaneously (NextGen, Contact Form 7, and Print Friendly and PDF). Rolling back to an earlier NextGen while keeping the updates on the others didn’t work, so I guess it must be one of them. I’ve reloaded my entire site from before the updates – don’t know whether I’m brave enough to try them individually and see what happens. Unless you’ve got specific suggestions about how to do this, I might just leave it there!
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Auto ThickBox Plus] Problems with NextGen-Gallery 2.x.xHi Manuel
I’ve got the same problem, and wondered if you’d found a solution – your website link looks ok to me (the images come up fine)?

Just to add, I tried the plugin deactivating and reactivating too. That didn’t work either.
My website is http://www.shospace.co.uk
Please can anyone help??

In reply to: MailChimp Widget – modifying style, adding headingHi James
Brilliant, thanks, works a treat.
I’d be interested in your reply to dpaq2011 – is there a quick way to make the button white, and also the field boxes for the data entry?
If/when you have an answer to my alignment question, I’m still interested too. But I do appreciate that busyness is a familiar friend!
Cheers again,

In reply to: MailChimp Widget – modifying style, adding headingJames, thanks for this.
Can’t get it to work though – where should I put this code? Tried my theme’s stylesheets, but no luck there.
S.
Thanks for your reply. Still a bit stuck though. Paying for someone else to help when it’s a matter of 2 or 3 lines of code isn’t what I want to do.
I think I can figure out the code, but by way of a test, I tried the fix for left-aligning (and a couple of others) but it didn’t work. I even tried the code from the mail chimp site’s subscribe form (which was posted as an e.g. of custom code elsewhere on the forum). Whatever code I put at the bottom of my css file doesn’t work. I don’t know if other code needs to be tweaked (my theme’s sidebar settings for e.g.). Is there a chance I’m putting it in the wrong place?
I have unchecked the ‘custom style’ box in the plugin options btw.

Sorry for the slow response, but this is just BRILLIANT.
Thank you so much. Wonderful, unexpected help. You’re a star.
