Thank you, but I have found another way.
I went in to my hosting accounts control panel (cPanel) and at the very bottom was the databases section. In that section was MySQL which when selected to me to the wordpress database with a handy dropdown menu of actions, one of which was RESTORE. I selected restore where I was warned that it would restore the database from a backup taken 11 hours ago and so I took a shot and my site is back up and running.
I don’t know what was saved in the back up, it was using simple back up for wordpress. But i don’t know how to reinstall the back up file
How can I download the PRO version plugin. I purchased it last night but the site is down with only an admin login available.
I’d also like to get on to the wpStorecart forums as I am a complete noobnuts at this kind of stuff.
