And this is why I am thinking I should return to no permalinks. I never had these problem previously.

Now I cannot access anything but the front page ..Any attempt to go to a post or a page leads me to Not Found
The requested URL /pagename was not found on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I read through http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=24402 which is very helpful but I am beginning to think I should turn off permalinks.
Can anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of this action?
I realise that some links from other site to me will be lost but is this the only problem and will it solve my problem with creating pages etc?

Just tried and no go.It’s weird because 3 pages I already had setup are working, but any new ones give me the error message.

In reply to: Maximum number of WordPress per database.I recently had 4 wp installs, 2 phpbb and 3 other database programs all in one database and they all worked fine.
One of the wp installs had over 700 posts and 1o00 comments too.
Mind you, I felt like a passenger train crossing India….

In reply to: Theme browserMainly because a few people have requested it. To be honest I would have thought it would not be too hard to make [if you know php that is – which I don’t] and if someone is able to then it might just make it easier for people.
It is not 100% necessary but more of a request.
I was also thinking of a means of how to make it easy for you macmanx to simply copy over the list to the Codex. It would make sense if we could find a means of making it easier for each other 🙂
