In reply to: [wp-Typography] Disabling hyphenation for single static siteGeschafft: Habe in der Text-Ansicht, mit der ich sowieso (fast) prinzipiell arbeite, innerhalb jedes HTML-Absatz-Tags noch „noTypo“ eingefügt.
So wollte ich die Seite haben!

In WordPress settings general, I was always using the time format “G.i \U\h\r” to display “10.30 Uhr“, which always worked fine because it is also the correct German time format. After I deleted “\U\h\r” which should show only “10.30“, it is now showing “Uhr” only once: “10.30 Uhr“.
Now I am wondering how and when the second “Uhr” appeared.
After many emails to and fro Jetpack, it seems that the issue is solved. To share the information with other users who are having the same problem, here is what helped.
- First, we found out that the cache has something to do with it. So I was suggested to install Transients Manager.
- Second step: starting Transients Manager by searching for
jetpack_restapi_stats_cache_entries. - Manually deleting all entries with this code.
After doing that, Blog Stats, and Top Posts and Pages widgets immediately updated counts and posts showed in the widgets.
Thanks to all at Jetpack who have been involved in finding the solution!
Well, I said that I was having merely an eye upon blog.ronaldfilkas.de. Most read posts don’t change too often at ronaldfilkas.de, thus it is very possible that I just seemed to overlook the issue there.
But I just contacted Jetpack support.
No, I just found out the the problem also affects ronaldfilkas.de but it is possible that it started about the same time as at blog.ronaldfilkas.de! I was merely monitoring the latter. What updated most recently? Jetpack and Yoast SEO on August 6, as I wrote above! All other updates are older.

Im genannten Reiter waren nur 100 Beiträge aktiviert, aber es sind doch einige mehr. Nachdem ich den Wert auf 150 hochgestellt habe, erschien der Beitrag auch sofort in der Statistik! Auweia, darauf hätte ich selbst kommen können …
Bei der Gelegenheit eine letzte Frage: Gibt es eine empfohlene Obergrenze für die in der Statistik anzuzeigenden Beiträge? Für https://blog.ronaldfilkas.de/ hatte ich 500 eingestellt, aber das überfordert die Shariff-Statistik vielleicht.
Ansonsten werde ich diesen Thread nach der nächsten Antwort als gelöst markieren.

Zum ersten Punkt: War mir eigentlich schon klar und ist auch nicht so das Problem. Zum zweiten: Die Option „Cache automatisch befüllen“ IST bereits aktiviert, außerdem gehört der Beitrag zu den am meisten gelesenen und wird in regelmäßigen Abständen aufgesucht. Nicht zuletzt deswegen habe ich ihn oben gehalten. Und selbst wenn er nicht abgerufen werden würde, müsste er doch in der Statistik auftauchen, und zwar mit nur Nullen. Aber das Problem ist ja, dass er dort ÜBERHAUPT NICHT auftaucht, also überhaupt nicht erfasst wird!
Well, the latest Jetpack release dated August 6th! The same day Yoast SEO was updated. Any other plugin updates are older than one month, thus from July, some are even older. The problems started in August. Both sites are only using one optimizing plugin: Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions. Besides one update today, the former update was July 15th.
WordPress activity log only displays the latest 20 events because I’m only using a free account, so I was checking all my plugins manually. blog.ronaldfilkas.de has 16 active plugins, most of them theme related, ronaldfilkas.de only 8!
Blog stats, and top posts and pages widgets also stopped working for https://ronaldfilkas.de/! I assume that the issue has to do with the latest Jetpack update.
I’m not sure yet. 1&1 Ionos says that the CDN package is already installed but I can’t find any settings in my 1&1 Ionos control center. Anyway, the mentioned widgets work very nicely for https://ronaldfilkas.de/ but not for https://blog.ronaldfilkas.de/ by the same hosting provider, and they worked very well until about two weeks ago, CDN or not. In the meantime, there hasn’t been theme updates, WordPress updates, or others that could have caused the problem, no WordPress settings changed, even a little change in .htaccess concerning rewrite cond and rewrite rule withdrawn. I am thinking about disabling and deleting those two widgets because the way they (don’t) work is simply useless.
1&1 Ionos. The same for my other site which is managed by myself.
https://blog.ronaldfilkas.de/ is a managed WordPress site by my web space provider, so I am not able to change the PHP version. But the issues with the widgets exist since about almost two weeks now, while the PHP version runs much longer. This couldn’t cause the issues. Both widgets are still showing the same data.

No, I am not using any sort of caching plugin. By the way, while running another website (https://ronaldfilkas.de/) I am using the same plugins but without any problems with the stats, and the top posts widgets.
