In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] Keep the posts on stagingHello @techdex,
Thank you for contacting us about this. We don’t have any code in WPSiteSync that deletes anything. Our intention is to synchronize/update the Content on the Target site, never remove anything from the Source site. So I think something else is going on.
Do you have any other plugins running on the Source site and what are those?
What might be easiest is to submit a Support Request through our web site at https://serverpress.com/contact/ – this way we can ask you some additional questions and see if we can find the cause for this.

In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] Always fail to loginHello Leandro,
Thank you for your interest in WPSiteSync. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having problems.
When we do logging, we remove the password for security reasons- so this is why it’s blank in the log file.
That error message is displayed when the credentials are wrong. So the username you’ve entered or the password or both are incorrect. You should be entering the username and password of a user on the Target site, not the current (Source) site.
Something else could be interfering with the authentication process. Are you using a Two Factor authentication plugin on your Target site or some security plugin? Try disabling that to see if that helps. Once authenticated, you can enable the Two Factor authentication plugin again and WPSiteSync will continue to function.
If you are using the Target username and password and still experience problems, please contact us through our support system at https://serverpress.com/contact/ and our support team will be happy to assist you.

In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] WPSiteSync for Content not support WPMLHello nuttwicrew,
Thank you for your interest in WPSiteSync.
You are correct, we do not currently support WPML. On our plugin page we state that we support standard WordPress data: posts, postmeta, taxonomies, etc. Because many plugins, and WPML is included in this, store their data in custom ways — these plugins are supported by add-on products.
If you like, you can go to our web site at https://wpsitesync.com/ and sign up for our Newsletter. Once we have support for WPML, this will be the best way to be notified.
All the best,
The ServerPress TeamHi mbdiener,
Glad to hear it’s working better now. I think that once it’s working, it would not suddenly stop working or stop working intermittently. We have not had any customers report that kind of behavior.
The URL we use for API calls is: yourdomain.com?pagename=wpsitesync_api
Please let us know if there’s any more information you need or if we can assist you further.
All the best,
The ServerPress TeamHello mbdiener,
Thanks for using WPSiteSync!
This may be an obvious question, but I have to ask: When you put WordFence into Learning Mode, are you doing that on the Target site – the site you are Pushing Content to? This is the site that is blocking the WPSiteSync API call. Then you can check on the Target site to see if there any requests to enable/allow the action. If you’re putting the Source site in Learning Mode, this won’t do anything.
If you are putting the Target site in Learning Mode and it’s still not working, we would like to ask you to submit a support request through our help system at: https://serverpress.com/contact/ – this is very likely not a WordFence issue, but a WPSiteSync issue and this would allow us to work with you better in resolving the problem.
All the best,
The ServerPress TeamHello wesleyli,
Following up with you here. We haven’t seen any support issues come in from you. When you have a chance, if you could provide us with the additional information we can take a closer look at this.

In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] Use Case Scenario?Hello, jstuts5797. Thank you for your interest in WPSiteSync.
Yes! You can direct WPSiteSync to Push your Content to *any* Target site. So Site 1 can point to Site 2 and Site 2 can point to Site 1.
However, if one site is hosted locally or behind a firewall, the other site will not be able to Push Content to it. In this case, you can use our “WPSiteSync for Pull”. https://wpsitesync.com/downloads/wpsitesync-for-pull/ This allows you to Pull the Content from the Target site to the Source site, which is behind a firewall.
Let us know if there is anything else you’d like to know.

In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] Doesn’t work from the local serverHello ferreto1978,
Thanks for writing to us and letting us know about this issue.
We’ve replied to your GitHub issue with some information which will address this issue. We believe this is due to some .htaccess rules which are not allowing you to load javascript and css on your local server. New .htaccess rules are posted for you in the GitHub issue (link below).
This update will be included in our next release of WPSiteSync, which is coming soon.

In reply to: [WPSiteSync for Content] Content Photos Not SyncHello dsteam,
Thanks for writing and letting us know about this. It sounds similar to something another user has recently reported.
We’d like to ask that you submit a support request at https://serverpress.com/contact/ so we can track this better. We will need to ask you for some log files and other information in order to fix the problem for you.
All the best,
The ServerPress TeamHi wesleyli,
Thanks for writing to us and letting us know about this. You’re right, the URL for the image on bbb.com should be updated and no longer refer to the image on aaa.com.
We would like to ask you to submit a support request at https://serverpress.com/contact/ so that we can get some additional information from you and log files. That will allow us to either fix the code or recommend how to resolve this.
All the best,
The ServerPress TeamHi pwhitemen,
Thanks for your feedback! WPSiteSync does work with MultiSite and it is supposed to be copying over images when synchronizing content as well. There may be something else in your configuration which is causing a conflict.
If you’re willing, we would love to work with you to determine what the problem is and to resolve it. We would like to ask you to contact us through our support channel at https://serverpress.com/contact/ so that we can get some additional information from you and address whatever issues you are experiencing.
All the best,
The ServerPress Team
