Hello @rapward,
Please, check if your website meets the system requirements, the guide is here:
https://cleantalk.org/help/system-requirements-for-anti-spam-and-securityAlso, please, delete all unused, outdated and abandoned plugins and themes from your website. Doing so will reduce the total amount of files for the scanner to check.
Disable the options “Scan for outbound links”, “Heuristic analysis” and “Fronted Malware scanner”, then launch the Malware Scanner again:
• WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Security by CleanTalk → General Settings → section “Malware Scanner” → disable the options “Scan for outbound links”, “Heuristic analysis” and “Fronted Malware scanner” → Save Changes. After the initial scan, please enable the options “Scan for outbound links” and “Heuristic analysis” back. Now future scans will be faster and more stable.

Hello @vbevan,
As I see the issue is about cache on the website. Please, reset the plugin settings to the default values. The guide is here:
https://cleantalk.org/help/plugin-templateThen clear your website cache. Make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less.
It will fix the issue. Did it help?
Speaking of the empty Anti-Spam Log, there are two websites with the same name added to your Dashboard, that’s why you see the log as empty. Please, check your first website’s log, not the second’s that was freshly created today:
