In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] menu issueHi tbssaad,
Yes, the Pro version enables you to mark your added tabs as ‘Public’ so that they could be viewed by all users.
Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
Thanks,
TarekWill do. Thank you so much Jaimon for the updated review, we really appreciate it 🙂
Thank you very much for the screenshot, I now know what your problem is: you can only add submenus to your own custom menus, but you can’t add them to the BuddyPress default standard menus. BuddyPress will simply ignore any menus you add that have the same menu names as BuddyPress.
Thank you Jaimon.
Can you describe the problem you’re having in more details? A screenshot would be really great. Are you using a single WordPress site or MultiSite? Also, have you tried using the standard WordPress theme to see if that fixes anything?
Hi Jaimon,
We’re really sorry that the plugin didn’t work for you. Also, please rest assured that you’re entitled for a full refund in case we’re not able to have you get the functionality you were desiring.
In the vast majority of cases, it’s another plugin that’s conflicting with ours. Would you please disable all other plugins and try? Also, it’s sometimes a conflict with the current theme you’re using. Again, if all doesn’t work, please let me know and I’ll issue you a refund.
Thanks,

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] creating Buddypress item sub menu using proHi Mnohtm,
Thanks a lot for sending us.
Using the Pro version, you could add your own sub menus, but you cannot include BuddyPress’ own sub menus in your custom menus.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kindly,

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] submenu for buddypress items [pro version]Hi hugoalberts,
Thank you very much for contacting us.
Submenus could only be added to your own custom tabs, using the WordPress menu editor. Hope this helps.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] tabHi mnohtm,
You should be able to add as many tabs as you wish with our free plugin. Just keep adding menu items regularly in the WordPress menu editor and then choose this menu from our setting page. I am not sure why additional tabs won’t appear after doing that, but it might very well be the theme that you’re using.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] CompatibilityHi Bas,
Yes, the current version is fully compatible with both the latest WordPress and BuddyPress versions.
I am suspecting that our plugin is conflicting with one of your existing plugins. Would you please try temporarily disabling all plugins and see if this fixes anything? If that doesn’t work, it might be that the theme you’re currently using isn’t fully compatible with BuddyPress.
Please rest assured that we’ll issue you a full refund if you’re not able to sort this out at the end.
Kind regards,

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Pro, Declaration bug?Oh the method is only called ‘setup_globals()’. ‘SP_BPCPM_MenuItemComponent::setup_globals()’ is just an indication that the method exists inside the SP_BPCPM_MenuItemComponent class.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Pro, Declaration bug?Hi Jacob,
I believe these warnings should be fixed if you change the function names from
‘SP_BPCPM_MenuItemComponent::setup_globals()’
to
‘SP_BPCPM_MenuItemComponent::setup_globals($args = Array)’We’ll working on fixing that at our side too for our next release. Thanks!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Hierarchy wont work in ProOne more thing: It’s unlikely, but it could be that your current theme doesn’t support submenus. Have you tried with a different theme?

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Hierarchy wont work in ProThat is very strange. Here are a couple of suggestions:
a. Did you have the free version of our plugin installed earlier? If so, make sure that this version is completely removed from your system, and that the active plugin is the Pro version.
b. What happens when you try creating a completely new menu from scratch, other than the one you’ve already created?
