  • Hey @martak333

    To center the menu button, but not the menu items themselves, you can use the following CSS code:

    @media screen and (max-width: 767px) {
      #site-navigation {
        text-align: center;
      }

      #site-navigation ul {
        text-align: left;
      }
    }

    Hi @mayank29gupta

    If the product images you uploaded are not the same size, you can make sure they are all the same ratio by going to your admin Dashboard and select Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Images, and then select the first or second option.

    If that doesn’t help, please include a link to your site so we can take a look and see what might be wrong there.

    Hey @fullboaroutdoors

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble getting help with your theme issue. Although we can help with issues that are directly related to (unmodified versions of) Storefront, third party themes are best supported by their own resp. developers (and more importantly, we’d rather not give you any incorrect information).

    If you purchased for Shopper (the theme you’re using), that should entitle you to get support from them. However, if their support team is unable/unwilling to help, you may want to consider using a different theme.

    Hey @pansotdev

    Storefront doesn’t come with normalize.css (so it’s probably caused by another plugin), but if you can share a link to your site, we can take a look.

    Hey @selinasevil,

    I want to hide it from the cart page only. Ofcourse I want my customers to some time in their purchase to see the shipping cost.
    I want to hide it from the cart page.
    But show it on the checkout page.

    If you do not want to show any shipping on the CART page at all, and it should only show shipping on the CHECKOUT page (after the customer enters their address), the following 3 settings would do that:

    • Default customer location: No Location By Default
    • Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page: EMPTY (OFF)
    • Hide shipping costs until an address is entered: CHECKED (ON)

    Let me clarify that a bit:

    • When the setting for Default customer location is set to “No Location By Default“, it ensures that your site will not assume your customer’s address (based on their IP address), or use your store’s address. In other words, shipping costs will only be calculated once the customer actually enters their address.
    • If “Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page” checkbox is ON, it will show a link on the CART page (“Calculate Shipping“), and when you click that, it will show a small form where the customer can enter their country, state/province and postcode.
      If this setting is OFF (empty), this link will not show on the Cart page at all.
    • If the “Hide shipping costs until an address is entered” checkbox is OFF (empty), the CART page will show the shipping methods that you have added in the “Locations not covered by your other zones” shipping zone, with the message “Shipping options will be updated during checkout“.
      If this is ON, it will not show any shipping method on the cart page.
      In both of these cases, the CHECKOUT page will not show any shipping until the customer enters an address.

    Hope this explains it a bit more!

    Hey @antonjport

    It looks like this may be caused due to a theme conflict, or possibly a third-party plugin. I’d recommend the conflict-testing steps here to isolate the source of the issue: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:
    – Temporarily switch your theme back to a default theme, such as Storefront.
    – Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
    – Clear your browser cache, and the cache on your site if you have one there.
    – Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

    If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until the problem appears again. This will then give you an idea about which plugin is the one causing the conflict.

    If the issue still appears when you only have WooCommerce active, let us know and we can look into some other things.

    Hey @clancel

    We’ve seen many WooCommerce stores work well with the WP Mail SMTP plugin, so it’s possible that another plugin (or your theme) might be related to this as well.

    I would suggest to check if the issue still appears when you switch to another theme, and you deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and WP Mail SMTP, to determine if it’s really just WP Mail SMTP that’s causing the issue.

    If you need to use another SMTP plugin, then you might just want to try any of the other ones that you can find here:

    Hey @quilez

    Can you tell us a bit more about the problem? For example, what do you mean exactly when you say “the other 3 layouts are not working as we would like“?

    Hi @alenka1436

    I can’t say what those fields are exactly, but if they are added by a plugin, you may need to check this with the plugin’s own support team.

    Other than that, it’s also possible that this is caused by a conflict with another plugin. The best way to determine that, is to do the following:

    – Temporarily switch your theme back to a default theme, such as Storefront.
    – Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce (and the plugin that adds those fields).

    Hope this points you in the right direction!

    @bestway2go

    Please see Jarret’s response above — it may be helpful to remove the theme entirely using FTP/SFTP, and then install it again.

    Hey @mayank29gupta

    That can be done with some CSS code. On which page(s) do you want to change it exactly? On the Shop/archives page, or the single product page?

    Hey @teshn,

    On the archive pages, each product is not in their own DIV, but they are in their own LI.

    To get the list format, you could use some CSS. Here’s some code to get you started with that:

    .site-main ul.products.columns-3 li.product {
      width: 100%;
    }

    .site-main ul.products.columns-3 li.product img {
      float: left;
      width: 30%;
      margin-right: 15px;
    }

    .site-main ul.products.columns-3 li.product h2,
    .site-main ul.products.columns-3 li.product .price{
      clear: none;
      text-align: left;
    }

    ul.products li.product .star-rating {
      margin-left: 0;
    }

    ul.products li.product .button {
      float: left;
    }

    Hey @norbo80

    Try this CSS code:

    .footer-widget-1 #instagram-feed-widget-7 {
      max-width: 80%;
      margin: 0 auto;
    }

    For some reason, the path to the images that make up the buttons, contains the full, absolute URL (with http) on your end.

    This is how the original code of my plugin calls these buttons:

    .page-scroll-buttons button.one-page-down {background-image:url('../img/spsb-arrow-down.png');}
    .page-scroll-buttons button.one-page-up {background-image:url('../img/spsb-arrow-up.png');}
    .page-scroll-buttons button.all-the-way-to-top {background-image:url('../img/spsb-arrow-top.png');}

    As you can see, it doesn’t contain the domain name or path to your WordPress install.

    This is how the code is on your site:

    .page-scroll-buttons button.one-page-down {background-image: url(http://kagimedia.com/wp-content/plugins/smooth-page-scroll-updown-buttons/assets/css/../img/spsb-arrow-down.png);}
    .page-scroll-buttons button.one-page-up {background-image: url(http://kagimedia.com/wp-content/plugins/smooth-page-scroll-updown-buttons/assets/css/../img/spsb-arrow-up.png);}
    .page-scroll-buttons button.all-the-way-to-top {background-image: url(http://kagimedia.com/wp-content/plugins/smooth-page-scroll-updown-buttons/assets/css/../img/spsb-arrow-top.png);}

    That appears to include the entire path, starting with http://kagimedia.com/, and that is what’s causing the mixed content warnings.

    I can’t say if this is something you changed yourself in the code, or if that’s coming from a plugin (perhaps a minification plugin?).

    If you changed it yourself, make sure it contains https://kagimedia.com/ (instead of http://kagimedia.com/).
    If a plugin changed this, you’ll need to check which plugin that is, and if you can change the settings in there.
