In reply to: podPress Dead?podPress is far from dead. I just forgot to pay the domain registration, and godaddy rarely misses a chance to show one of their parked pages.
Anyways, podPress is far from dead. Ive been spending these last couple of months re-designing the codebase to clean up as much as I could and split the core into its own lib which is now being ported to drupal and joomla for those using those platforms. podPress itself benefits by way of the new design and more customizable template system.

In reply to: Podpress 6.9 re-writes my feed urlOh, as far as the optional files. With WordPress 2.1, nearly all of them are no longer needed. Additionally, they are documented on the wiki.

In reply to: Podpress 6.9 re-writes my feed urlI found the cause of the bug and it will be fixed in the next release (7.0) which I hope to release in a few days. Aside from that I have noticed a few other bugs that Im cleaning up now.

In reply to: RSS 2.0 tags in WP 2.0.1The problem was with some content that wasnt being escaped for the RSS feed. I have added filters to protect against this issue now.
