In reply to: Username Changed To MonkeyHi, I just noticed the same issue on two of my sites. Not sure how it happened yet. But I can tell you that they added cgi.php and redirect.php files in the WordPress root folder.
They both got hacked on Jan 11th.
Only thing that’s working is setting the calendar to List view by default…. Can’t seem to be able to fix the Chrome view.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirect the 404 urls to a searchI did something kind of like this on my 404.php file:
<?php $search_term = substr($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],1); $search_404 = str_replace('/','+',$search_term); $search_404 = str_replace('-','+',$search_404); $args=array('s' => $search_404, 'post_type' => 'post', 'paged' => $paged); $the_query = new WP_Query( $args ); ?> <?php if ( $the_query->have_posts() ) : while ( $the_query->have_posts() ) : $the_query->the_post(); get_post_type() ); endwhile; endif; ?>It seems to work fine and give the user some help on what is happening. Pardon my coding as it’s mostly hacked from other sources π
Hope this helps.

In reply to: Multisite per subdomain .css filesThanks David. I think I’ll go that route. I had thoughts of making the process more automated. Such as using only one child theme that would recognize the subdomain an pull files accordingly. I’m thinking that’s too convoluted, so K.I.S.S.

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Images only show when logged inSorry, it was a caching issue. All set and working.
Sorry if I’m being dense.
I followed the solution on the support article to have the registered users edit their newsletters. However it still won’t show when I point the browser to that page.“Subscribers can edit their profile” is selected
“Subscriber profile page” is set to a blanc page and the preview shows it well.Is there a way to have users edit the newsletters they are signe up to within WP?
Thanks

In reply to: [Redirection] redirect old .html links@jrf: I did try it without success. The second option worked like a charm however.
Thank you

In reply to: [Redirection] redirect old .html linksThanks for the reply. What I meant is that I had my blog set up as:
http://domain.com/year/day/post-name.html
and now it’s
http://domain.com/year/day/post-name/These are just examples and the word post is not really used. How would I remove the “.html” and replace it with a “/”?
Thanks again

In reply to: [WordPress Importer] Work with WP 3.5?OK, bare with me. I saved my old WP install to my computer and also exported everything to an xml file. I switched hosts, installed WP through SimpleScripts, uploaded my original wp-content folder overriding the new one, and imported everything with the download and import file attachments selected.
It all seemed to work well except my images are not linked right.
I have a link to an image in a post named roadtripA1931-266×400.jpg
But when I look in the FTP there is the original and four other sizes, but not that particular size. There is another image link that has a 1 at the end of the file name there for does not work.Should I take this up somewhere else? I think it pertinent to here, but if not sorry.

In reply to: Open image in new window does not workThat was a bad example because I actually edited the link. My problem is that it won’t save when I update the open link in new window.
I’d rather stay away from plugins if I should be able to do it with natively with WP.
