Until something is done about the automatic connection problem, yes, I would ignore. I just marked them all as fixed, but I think they’ll come back soon enough.
Sorry for the vague comment. It was more meant as info…
I’m having the same problem with a client’s site. Seems this plugin is being seen as an “automated access” by Amazon and they’d like this to be done through their API instead. This following text is from the “Details” link under the 503 Service Unavailable status:

For anybody with this issue… Make sure you install the matching Child theme. I had the free version of Hestia and the Pro version of the Child theme.
Sloppy, I know….

Make sure you mark this as closed πForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress Rollback Automatically to old versionWeird that it would roll back that far. I’ve seen this in the past with hosts keeping WordPress versions locked or even some caching? I would ask your hosting company about this.

In reply to: Visual Editor Not Working, Only HTML portion alsp weiredI’ve fixed this in the past by clearing browser cache and cookies.
Hope that does it for you too πHere is the link, I created this one a while back through the block editor.
I also created others as tests with the newest versions of Gutenberg and Jetpack with the same results.
If I set the gallery images so they link to Attachment Page, then the correct image opens. But then the Carousel fix no longer works… π
This was the fix, correct?

Hi Jeremy,
I had the same issue as the OP and updated to the latest version of JetPack 6.8
The Carousel is now working but no matter what image I click on, it takes me to the first in the gallery. I cleared caches and even created a new page/gallery to be sure.
Thanks

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Home page sections and SEOI will be setting the pages that are added to the home page as sections as no-index and keeping the home page as default. That way search engines don’t see duplicate content.
Seems like the best way. Unless there are other opinions π
I was having the same problem. This is what I did to fix the issue. Jetpack did not make this very clear in their documentation…
add_filter( 'lazyload_is_enabled', 'echotechie_lazyload_exclude', 15 ); function echotechie_lazyload_exclude() { if ( is_page( array( 12, 'slug', 'Title' ) ) ) { return false; } else { return true; } }Now just change the 12, ‘slug’, ‘Title’ to whatever page you want to exclude from lazy loading π
Or remove the whole array() and add a single field.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Home page sections and SEOSorry if that didn’t make sense.
I have a home page. I also have page A, B, and C.
All three pages are being added to the home page as sections (not as excerpts) to the home page. When Google crawls my site, it will see the home page’s content (including all of the content from A, B, and C) and will also see all the content on the individual pages. This seems like it would be flagged as duplicate content. What I’m thinking of doing is setting A, B, and C (not the home page) as no-index. That way Google won’t crawl those three pages and will crawl the home page.
Now there won’t be any duplicate content and everyone is happy π
Or is this not necessary?
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Home page sections and SEOSorry to be late to my own thread π
I don’t use the pages as excerpts on the home page. The pages are used, both, as parts of the home page (single page with several sections) and also as standalone pages.
This sounds like it would be considered duplicate content. So question is, should I no-index the pages that are used as sections on the home page? This way they are not seen by search engines.
Or is there some other way to handle this? While not using excerpts, since I do want to show the complete content…
Thanks

In reply to: Username Changed To MonkeyThe basic of it is searching with plugins for things and manually. Through the command line (ssh) or an FTP program.
I use i-themes and sucuri. But most security plugins should be good for this. Not fun! Sorry
