In reply to: [WP Table Builder – Drag & Drop Table Builder] Extra, empty paragraph tagsUpdate to last post, finding if I toggle on Turn Off Theme Styling the <p> issue goes away. I don’t have styles written for <p> in the CSS so this is a conflict with the mega popular Divi theme.

In reply to: [WP Table Builder – Drag & Drop Table Builder] Extra, empty paragraph tagsHappening now on another site and did NOT save with empty cells. So annoying. How do I remove these empty <p> tags? Thanks.
Private site. Let me see if I can get it somewhere public for you to see.
Thanks. Glad I’m not crazy and it’s actually a conflict somewhere. We are using Divi WooCommerce Pro.
So apparently in Website mode the Colors > Logo & Background color is overriding the background image specified in the CSS. If I open Inspector and toggle off the color showing there (which matches what I set in the admin) then I see the background image I uploaded. I tried setting this color to transparent, but then that just shows a blank gray background.
This has got to be a glitch right? Thanks.PS: Resetting sections to defaults did not fix it.
Only hack so far is to add this to CSS…
body{background-image: url(“/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/404-Background.jpg”) !important;}Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists] Ticker Text ColorIt’s in development behind a coming soon, so unfortunately I can’t.
Yes, we use caching, but I’ve cleared several times, tried new browsers, incognito, etc.

Still TOTALLY confused. I read that thread. My understanding is some rules were in .htaccess but better off in PHP, so you guys are moving them there. BUT Then you say you can re-activate the ones going to .htaccess? Why would I do that if it’s better they are in PHP? And how would one verify they aren’t a problem reactivating without reactivating and seeing there is a problem?
Not trying to be unhelpful or just negative to be negative, but many of us don’t live and breath web security technology. We just want to protect our sites. We have clients asking us what this means and we can’t tell them, “Well many of us don’t really understand what’s going on.”
What I and so many others need to know is.- How do we know whether each site is or should be using a PHP or .htaccess method?
- Is there any need to reactivate the .htaccess ones if everything is over on PHP now?
- How does one safely test the .htaccess ones to know they are ok to reactivate?
We appreciate the plugin but are stumped at if there needs to be one method, two, some hybrid of both and how to answer clients. Thanks.
When I updated there was no listing like this screenshot which causes a lot of confusion because the email warning says, “we have disabled the features” and “You can enable the features again by logging into your WordPress dashboard…” So we don’t know if features were disabled or not without the info you show in your screenshot. If some were disabled we wouldn’t know which ones to re-enable.
To add to the confusion the screenshot says they are applied differently now, so why would they need to be re-enabled? Are we re-enabling the old version or cutting the features back on in the new version. Way confusing.SOLVED. This is specific to Siteground who has been moving all client sites to new Google servers. For some reason during this transition all WP users were interpreted from the same server address. This means if a hacker used a fake username (or even a legit one) once they failed with the password it would block EVERYONE because everyone was recognized from that IP.
Once we updated the A record to the new server for the website Wordfence then showed unique geolocations for each login attempt.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Array warningSame problem on one of our client sites. Noticing this error on lots of sites that use Blubrry. A plugin update came out two days ago and guessing there is a minor error. Anyone got their ears on at Blubrry?

In reply to: [Media File Renamer: Rename for better SEO (AI-Powered)] Not Working?OK, in the tutorial, maybe I missed it. It says…
“Method 2: Manual Rename Once enabled, the input field containing the filename will be editable everywhere”
Helpful to explicitly explain how to enable… You need to first go to the plugin Settings tab > under Manual > Rename Field > Enable
THEN you can follow out instructions back in the tutorial.

Found most of them in AIOSEO’s Social Networks settings. Changed an image file name and some other items which scrubbed all location references. Turns out it wasn’t cached. Hope this helps someone else.

Warning you see when you try to adjust settings.
