SOLVED. Has something to do with the CMP Coming Soon plugin. When that is activated the old favicon shows, deactivated it shows the right one. Hope this helps someone else.
Possibly figured it out. It appears that AIOSEO even if you are logged in as Admin views the site from a purely public standpoint. It is hitting my CMP – Coming Soon & Maintenance Plugin. Any way to get around that?
I’ll also add it says there is no H1 and there is. It says too few internal links and there are lie 4-5. Just seems like the plugin is ignoring everything.

We temporarily disabled the All In One WP Security and Firewall (WP Security) plugin and the pins showed. We reactivated WP Security and the pins disappeared. We tried your Disable Compressed Path trick but it did not load the pins. We checked the only setting in WP Security for REST we could find and it is not activated.
I don’t think there is a learn mode like with Wordfence.
UPDATE: We had to disable certain security plugin features for this to work. I don’t think elaborating on which ones would be a good idea. So this is working, but not in an ideal way.

Also, in addition to the last post, if you specify the header background color to be transparent, the light gray background still shows on the mobile views. Another glitch?

Thanks! But also, is there a way to specify alt colors or toggle off for mobile responsive. It can make a mess of things. Would be nice to just apply to the header column to the left.
Ah, in addition to my last post… figured out why it was saying changing row colors was Pro Feature only. Check this out. Maybe Z-index or something. See the shaded pro field right underneath the color specify field. For some reason sometimes it clicks and activates that Pro field underneath or on top and won’t let you specify the color. Other times it is no issue.
