In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] images rotate when viewed on mobile deviceSome images handle their orientation with a flag in the EXIF part of the file.
Not all browsers / applications read that information.
You should load your images in a basic photo editor and get rid of the rotation, resave and then reload the images in WP.
If more issues, you need to post in the weaver forum with a link to the page showing the images with the problem, as this forum is not monitored

In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] Weaver Xtreme not ready for releaseAsking in the forum so we can help figure out whatever problem you encountered would have been more productive than ranting about something that is not a general problem.

Always include a link to your site
http://forum.weavertheme.com/For (1) you need to explain what kind of errors and provide a link to the page including non working links with specifics about which one to try.
For (2) check the FAQ below in case there is problem with your installation.

In reply to: [Weaver II] Constructor errorThis forum is not monitored, you need to post in the Weaver forum
http://forum.weavertheme.com/Xtreme “Page with post” template lets you filter custom post type.
For finer control, try weaver Show post plugin, which has a more elaborate filtering system that should allow you to filter anything you want, and display the result anyway you want and anywhere you want.
If you do need a child theme and need help with that, post in the weaver forum with a link to your site and detailed explanation of what you want to do.

In reply to: [Weaver II] comments do not work when users leave emailHighly unlikely to be theme related.
I would try the following
1- Check for possible plugin interaction by deactivating ALL plugins and see if that fixes the issue. If it doe, reactivate one by one to find the culprit.
2- Go to Settings > Permalink, and re save the permalinks
3- Redo the last WordPress Update from the Dashboard > Update page

In reply to: [Weaver Xtreme] there are two side barYou need to post your questions in the weaver Forum, as this one is not monitored.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/When you do that, you need to explain why you are creating a child theme.
Weaver Xtreme gives you full control of the sidebar configuration both at a global level in Main Options > Sidebar & Layout, as well as at the page level, with a “select Sidebar Layout for this page” drop down list in every editing page to override the global setting on any given page. You do need to make sure you have installed the Weaver Xtreme Theme Support plugin, as most of the options are in the plugin.
The only reason you would need a child theme is for advanced PHP modification to the templates, but most changes can be achieved through the Theme options, the insertion areas, and Custom CSS possibilities.
So make sure to explain what you are trying to do so we can advise if you actually need a child theme or not.

In reply to: [Count per Day] Conflict with "Older Posts" buttinUnless you actually installed Xtreme and tested that it works on it, there is no guarantee that would be the case. SO make that test first.
If you do decide to upgrade to Xtreme, there is a detail procedure on how to use the converter plugins below:
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/11303/converting-a-weaver-ii-pro-or-aspen-site-to-weaver-xtremeThere aren’t any tutorial per se for Xtreme, BUT:
Xtreme uses the same logical principles as Weaver II, so the Weaver II tutorial will help you get a sense of it. Xtreme options are actually regrouped in a more logical and consistent fashion and will be easier to navigate.
Next browsing the Theme options pages as well as the page / post editing pages, and clicking on the little help bubbles should be fairly straightforward.
Another good thing to explore are the various pages of the demo site: http://demo.weavertheme.com/Then I would recommend to read the help from start to finish to get a second view of the whole theme.
After all that, the best is to post on the weaver forum any question you may have, and we will be happy to clarify anything for you.
Don’t be frightened by the amount of options that are in the theme. Most of them are basic things you will need right away, and many are advanced things that you will need later when you are trying to fine tune your site. When you find yourself in need of doing something, they will take all their meaning.
Finally there is a section of the forum reserved for Xtreme Tips and tutorials (http://forum.weavertheme.com/categories/weaver-x-tutorials-and-hints ). Visit that section, and read the first few of my tutorials that explain some of the new features of the theme.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/discussion/10344/index-for-the-weaver-xtreme-tips-and-tutorials-threads#latestBut do all these in order as it will make more sense.
Note: Make sure you install the Weaver Xtreme Theme Support plugin as many (and soon all) of the options are in there.
See you on the forum

In reply to: [Count per Day] Conflict with "Older Posts" buttinIf the plugin is breaking the link, then you need to speak to the plugin developer.
Based on what they say, you then need to post in the weaver forum below with all the info to get a final opinion from weaver.
http://forum.weavertheme.com/You may also want to test the newest generation of Weaver Theme which is Weaver Xtreme to see if it breaks there too, as at one point you will probably need to migrate to it given weaver II is end of life.
