https://guide.weavertheme.com/settings-wont-save-from-customizer/In the mean time you can do all your settings from the Legacy Admin interface in Appearance > Weaver Xtreme Admin, assuming you installed the Weaver Xtreme Theme support Plugin (which you should).
You can also temporarily deactivate the Xtreme Customizer so you can access the basic WP customizer features in Advanced options > Admin options.If you need more help, please post in the Weaver forum below, as this one is not monitored

First make sure you are running the latest versions of the Theme (3.1.2) and the Xtreme Theme Support Plugin (3.1).

The reason these Widget Areas are showing up is because they contain an empty text widget !!
You need to remove it by going in Appearance > Widgets and emptying the Sitewide top and page to widget areas…And regarding the advice of using a Custom CSS plugin when needing Custom CSS rules, There is no need for a Custom CSS plugin width weaver Xtreme.
You can Add Global CSS Rule directly in the theme either in The Legacy Admin > Main Options > Fonts & Custom > CUstom CSS Rule box; or in the Customize > CSS > Global CSS rule box
You can also use the CSS+ boxes next to every option when applicable to the element.I strongly suggest you post any further question on the Weaver Forum where you will get better informed advice 🙂

You should also include a link to the page with the slider created from a single slider post with a gallery and the other one you describe with
“Why in case creating weaver slider posts single, adding image one by one, selecting previously created categories and filters in each weaver slider posts, adding to each of posts featured image and then creating slider with the proper filter created previously gives different view?”
As it is not quite clear what you mean by that description.Do note there is an option in the slider option page under “Image SLider Layout” that says “image Height and width” > Force images to use full width and max height for picture.
As for your last remark, I believe it is covered in Weaver Posts & SLider Option > Gallery/ Lightbox page where you can select the slider that will automatically replace any gallery shortcode.

Header image is a WordPress feature and is done in Appearance > Header.
Sliders require a slider plugin. Weaver Has one called Weaver Show Slider that you can download from wordpress.org.

Normally WordPress is installed on your hosting server, if you use a hosting provider, your install it there.
If you are doing local hosting or development, there are Ways to install WordPress on Mac, you will have to look that up, or post in the Forum
