In reply to: [BracketPress] Bracketpress.com DownI’m not sure why you can’t access the site. It is indeed up. Support is handled via the support forum.

In reply to: [BracketPress] Getting StartedYou can place the widget anywhere that you have a widget area defined. That would depend on your theme though. Alternatively, you might try using a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/ that lets you put widgets into pages. I have no experience with it though, so I can’t offer any help.
Be sure and watch the video at http://www.bracketpress.com — I address the layout issue in the video. There is a setting you can change to tell it what page layout to use. Most themes have a “full width” page, that is what you will need to use.
If your theme doesn’t support a full width, you might consider installing BracketPress on a subdomain and running it with Twenty Ten or Twenty Eleven as the theme.

In reply to: [BracketPress] Getting StartedIf you have registration enabled on your site, then new users can create accounts on their own. They can do so through any means you want. A third party plugin, Gravity Forms, etc… or even through the regular WordPress user registration system.
We created a plugin that complements BracketPress that you’d probably want to look into.

In reply to: [BracketPress] Other SportsIn theory, as long as the other sports had 64 teams. You could. But the 64 teams part is hardcoded into this version of the plugin. We plan to offer something more flexible in the future.

In reply to: [EDD Mobile] Possible Update ConflictWe are frozen on 1.3.9.1 of the License Add-on until Monday. Not rocking the boat during the last few days of the tournament 🙂 But it looks like maybe the two aren’t related. Sometimes when I load my plugin page, it doesn’t show the update available, sometimes it does. Once we upgrade, I’ll keep an eye on it.

In reply to: [EDD Mobile] Possible Update ConflictIt could have just been a fluke and the two are not related, but I figured I’d say something just to document it.
