In reply to: [Cart Notices for WooCommerce] Can’t get Category notices to workI have had to deactivate the plugin, so that link won’t work. I can message as needed.
Does it need %category% in text as well?

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] MMM overriding important Divs on desktopTom thank you so much, I get the concept & experimented but couldn’t get this to work. Possibly too advanced for me.
I’ve added this work-around which isn’t perfect, but improves it in the meantime
.mega-menu-main .navbar-inner .nav-collapse, .mega-menu-main .navbar-inner .nav-collapse.collapse { overflow: visible; height: auto !important; /* top: auto !important; */Thank you so much again for all your help. If you don’t have any further comments, I’ll mark as resolved.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] MMM overriding important Divs on desktopHi Tom, thanks for getting back to me so quickly so I was able to experiment (my Theme is Customizr, not Divi which might explain why it looks different!)
Your custom CSS did indeed help, thank you so much.
The only knock-on effect that it’s had is that on mobile, my Site Title text now overlaps the menu bar, so when you scroll down on mobile, you can’t click on the sticky menu, only on the site title, which takes you back to the homepage.
If you have any ideas how to keep your original fix, while also resolving this, I’d love to hear.
Thank you so much, I’m so pleased I can keep using Max Mega Menu, it’s a great plugin!

In reply to: [Customizr] Child Theme CSS no longer workingThank you so much Rocco, good spot on the
<br>I’ve taken it out, although sadly everything hasn’t started working again.& yes thank you, I was checking the name of the filter hook, as I know some of the names changed.
Can you think of any other reasons the CSS snippets are no longer working?
Thank you so much again for looking at this. I just can’t figure it out!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Lost all variation data on updateHi Mike, thanks for your updates.
I’ve got 3.0.1 installed but have lost all my varations.
I tried adding your snippet (I pasted the Gist link into my PHP editor, making sure it wasn’t hyperlinked, hope that’s correct!)
But I’ve still lost my variationsIs there anything else I should try before I have to do the all from scratch manually?
Hope to hear from you

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr & Google Analytics Tracking CodeThanks Menaka, of course, just wanted to check if you had anything else to add, thank you again.

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr & Google Analytics Tracking CodeThank you Menaka, yes occasionally those comments have appeared on my site in the header, so good idea to remove them.
I started going through your ideas & also tested plugins again. I was sure I had tested my caching plugin WPSuperCache, but when I turned it off again, the PHP started working again.
So thank you, the GA code seems to be working again now.
I’m very grateful for your help

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr & Google Analytics Tracking CodeThanks Menaka – I was wondering if lines 96 & 109 were ok?
Didn’t know if they were an unnecessary repeat? Glad you think the code generally looks okI’ll do those tests you suggest & report back (may have to be on Monday)
Many thanks for looking into this

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr & Google Analytics Tracking CodeHi Zephyr Designs, thank you so much, that is definitely a sensible option I agree!
Ideally I’d like to not add another plugin to my site if I can, but I agree this is definitely a good backup option if I can’t resolve it.

In reply to: [Customizr] Customizr & Google Analytics Tracking CodeHi Menaka, thank you, good idea as usual! I’ve pasted the code at pastebin here
I’ve pasted my whole Child Functions.php for completeness – The Google Analytics codes starts at line 94
I hope you can spot something simple. I keep crashing my site trying to fix it & currently none of this PHP is feeding through & working.
Thank you so much for taking a look, I really appreciate your time & expertise,

In reply to: [Customizr] Social Media Icons Disappear with PluginMenaka, you’re a genius, thank you so much for looking into this & solving it!
For anyone experiencing the same problem, I just want to summarise the solution below:
– MaxMegaMenu recommends the following CSS to fit with Customizr (at this link)
– however, you need to remove the following section of CSS if you want your social icons to keep displaying in Customizr as they did originally (top L in menu header)
`.navbar-inner button.btn-navbar, .navbar-inner .btn-toggle-nav, .navbar-inner div.social-block {
display: none !important;
}Huge thanks to Menaka for sorting this for me. I’m sure it’ll help others too.

In reply to: [Customizr] Social Media Icons Disappear with PluginHi Menaka, thanks for the idea – I’ve activated it now for you – do let me know when you’ve had a look, so I can turn it back off. I think we’re in very different timezones!
You can see the MegaMenu under ‘shop’ & that my social icons are now missing in the menu header top right position.
Look forward to hearing if we can sort it, thanks so much for your help

In reply to: [Customizr] Social Media Icons Disappear with PluginHi Menaka @meankas
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. That sounds very interesting.Do you have any tips for (1) how to move the social icons & (2) where to move them too (I’d prefer them as high on the page as possible)?
At the moment I haven’t got Max Mega Menu activated as I haven’t yet resolved this, but my site is here if that gives you any more ideas.
Sarah
Thanks Dave, will seek it out!
Hi thank you for the guidance – so:
1. Yes Meta Slider code is in child header.php (the code you saw on test page)
2. I can’t see this. I expect it’s cos the homepage is set up as a Theme option, so it’s done as a front-end ‘user-friendly’ fill in boxes-type thing.
3. So I can’t see this to check
4. You’re onto something & that’s what I was concerned about in my original question – that I couldn’t see some draft text I did as a test.
So I guess I ‘just’ need to work out how to get my child header.php read. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated, but understand that Meta Slider is not at fault! It did work on my test site, so it’s got to be relatively simple?!
