I also checked register plus redux plugin now and having same issue.
both are latest versions downloaded from wordpress site

okay I think My problem isnt clear.
I am not getting link to register on my blog home page
or any posts anywhere on my blog.
Do we need to manually assign it? how do visitors see register/subscribe link

Yes Sir I have it enabled with new user default role set to subscriber.
