Yes, I’m sure there is a way to remove the plugins.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your responses.

The login issue is not a password problem. It’s in fact due to a plugin.

We thought that we could remove the plugin by going into the filesystem of the blog, using the FTP credentials. However, it looks like the IT guys can’t remove it as there is too much data and that there is no search function (I quote).
So they said the last solution would be to try to reproduce an identical version of the blog by using a website builder.
As mentioned before, my domain name is registered on godaddy but we used wordpress to update the blog.
I would like to know if it would be possible to have another admin page which I could use to either update my blog or that I could use to create a new blog with the same domain name (considering that we would have to delete the current blog)?

    Thanks a lot.

Here is the URL of the blog: http://ilawyerblog.com/

And as you can see, I can’t even login, as my login page itself is a white page: http://ilawyerblog.com/wp-admin/

I did not set up the blog but the IT company I’m in touch with told me that, according to their tools, this the host: http://www.ixwebhosting.com/

If I don’t receive an answer from the host, what would be your advice?

    Many thanks.

    Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, someone set up the site for us. I did contact the person a few days ago but no response yet.

If I can’t provide the FTP credentials to IT, do you think that the only solution would be to use the domain name with another wordpress application? Would we also need at some point FTP credentials or anything like it for this?

Thanks. Indeed, I meant using my domain name with another wordpress application.
Coming back to phpMyAdmin, trying to work out how to install it does not seem so easy, as after the downloading, I end up with a bunch of files and folders on my computer. Should I gather all these under one single folder? In other words, I’m quite surprised to not have any “Execute” button, after the downloading. The online guides are not very clear.
Moreover, I have not done any backup copy of my database yet, which is a big mistake, I confess.

Thank you. If this does not work, do you think that it would be possible to create another wordpress account for the same website?

In other words, is any new wordpress account automatically linked to a new website, and thus to only one website?

    Thank you for your responses.
I don’t think that the blog has been hacked. The blog is still online.
I think that this plugin issue is due to the fact that I’m not using the latest or one of the latest wordpress version.

    Denis, could you tell me where I can enter this SQL? As I don’t have access to anything on my dashboard. Should I simply enter it this way: nameoftheblog./wp-admin/UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ” WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugins’;
    ?

    Thanks a lot.
