So why did this happen?

So the search plugin won’t fix the error and remove them from the GSC error list? I understand that clicking the FIXED button doesn’t really fix anything and it’s just a checkbox.

I understand what the plugin is supposed to do.
However, my errors build up by the dozens until I manually clean them up so it doesn’t appear to be working. How often should these errors be being purged?
