WordPress also uses an if statement so if mod_rewrite.c doesn’t exist, it will just ignore the rewrite rules.

If you try the same thing you did in IE6 or Firefox and it happens its the server. If it doesn’t happen, only in IE7, its the browser. Simple as that.

In reply to: Removing Google Ads?Thats very sleezy. Someone should politely ask Chris either to remove it or disable it by default and include instructions for the user to change it for their adsense account before turning it on. Nothing like placing ads on someone else’s site for their own profits!

In reply to: Firewall blocking pingomatic ping?It could be slow because of the amount of links. Your last post on the 13th has 23 links. Thats alot of sites to ping!

In reply to: Firewall blocking pingomatic ping?It has nothing to do with a firewall. XML-RPC travels over port 80 like the rest of your http traffic. Unless somedody didn’t want you getting to the internet at all, in which case you wouldn’t be able to get to your website or wordpress.org

In reply to: Blogwidow is pretending it’s publishing your blogIf you google for yourself in site “www.blogwidow.com”
You will not find any results. Despite the fact that you can see your site at http://www.blogwidow.com/cgi/view.cgi/blog.taragana.com
Until you Submit an article Your site is not actually listed on the front page of blogwidow.com. All those pages in the results of your search…
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.blogwidow.com%2F are only listed because google spidered while they were listed on the Main pageSo chill out dude and loosen your panties. Get a frame breaker and go back to your grandma’s basement.
