In reply to: [YouTube Gallery - YouTube Channel] Plugin FoldersIt must have taken a magic phone call or an act of God or a refund request to get such a fast support response after waiting three weeks on my other inquiries still ignored. Well, I have no genie and I didn’t pray about this one so.. thank you for the info. Have a nice day. 😀

In reply to: [YouTube Gallery - YouTube Channel] Displaying Video PlaylistsGood morning. When I go to your site to make the purchase, will I be using my WP login credentials or create a new one? Thank you

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin Edits & HacksI also tried it in the theme main stylesheet, no go. I tried it in the plugin’s main.css stylesheet, no go as well. I’ll find a work around eventually but if it doesn’t work from the plugin main.css, it makes no sense to me, something else is overwriting my css during page load.
.responsive-menu-item {padding:2px 0px 2px 0px; }

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin Edits & HacksI know how to write css, just as it is above. I tried it in the css of “menu to hide” option mentioned in the documentation but all that did was disappear the menu leaving only icons on the opposite page side and the hamburger was gone. I’ll try it in the custom css area and see what happens.
I don’t understand. You say that custom css is out of plugin’s scope? Then why is there a custom css tab & input box? I often learn from trial and error when I can’t get solutions. Sometimes it works out, others not. :o) I was only asking how it should be written in the custom css box. If written as normal css code then no problem. It would be just what I mentioned in my prior post. In which case I’ll have wait for my purchase on payday this week since that option is disabled at present.
Thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin Edits & HacksAs mentioned I’ve been looking through the source code and I find that the id and class of .responsive-menu-item would be the way to go.
So I would write:
.responsive-menu-item { padding-top:2px;padding-bottom:2px; }
like this or should I do it for each button item number? Thanks again.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin Edits & HacksVery good, I appreciate that.
I am having trouble finding the style classes as they are labeled in the source code. The individual components’ style classes are not to be found in any of the plugin stylesheets. How can I add padding to the buttons? If I use custom css, what class would I include and how would I write that custom css? Surely I can’t just make up classes and ids of my own since the php engine would not know what component it is. How would I write the custom css? (I should know this by now but I’ve been using the stylesheets of plugins and themes all along and not using the custom css option) Thanks again!

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Plugin Edits & HacksGot the hover colors going right now. I’d still like to add a little padding to the buttons though.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu Won't Obey OptionsI appreciate your kindness. I may reactivate the plugin after some adjustments. I am finding that the most problems arise when using security plugins. Each security plugin I have tried only brought me headaches and robot spamming, which it is supposed to prevent. Go figure. I only tried the ones with top ratings too. I even used the top one until I found that they wanted hundred$ per year for it.
I have rebuilt the entire site several times now in different themes. Each one carries its own issues with itself and the plugins. I guess it was just too good to be true that a website software came out with plugins to offer us all the options and operations of the big sites and companies. Not long ago I had to program everything manual and own my own scripts/programs to all site operations plus find hosting that could accommodate.
I did notice one thing about the Responsive Menu plugin. On mobiles, the responsive menu hamburger was not appearing, only a hamburger to the site main nav on the opposite side. Your menu did not show on phones and such in my case, didn’t get to try a tablet.
I will let you know when I give it another shot. I wanted to buy the plugin. Your pricing is very fair and affordable.
Anyways, thanks again. Nice day to you.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu Won't Obey OptionsYes. The plugin appeared to develop problems which got worse and worse with each attempt to correct them so I decided to uninstall it. It did work really good for a couple weeks. I don’t know what went wrong.
This has happened with numerous plugins and with no support from anything associated with WordPress, I don’t even have a contact form on the site anymore. Likely I will have to construct an entirely new site of a different format. WordPress is too much work and malfunctions too often, constant repair/maintenance is required. I must say, you are the first plugin makers I have come across associated with WordPress products who offered any assist whatsoever. Figured you were all gone for the weekend. I’ll close this thread now.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu Won't Obey OptionsThanks for reply. It is musicalhelp.org. Menu is left top hamburger.
A simple “uninstall” was all it took. No more problem.
