Thank you for the response. I had to switch the calendar so we can have the website up. I would like use the Simple Calendar again if possible.

Ahhh – good call. Unfortunately I am working with a live site. I will have to see if they would be ok with me switching the theme temporarily to test. The site was built by someone else and I took over the maintenance of it.
The biggest question is, will I lose any theme/layout info by switching themes and switching back. The site is http://www.thrivingyoungminds.com
