Hey Anne,
It looks like you also submitted a ticket about this. I’ll go ahead and respond to you there. I hope you are having a great day!

I’m glad you’re happy! Let me know if you ever need anything else.
Thanks,
Craig
Hey Tom,
Sorry I think my first message may have been confusing!
Did you try switching the setting “Message” to “Translations”? See this screenshot: https://snag.gy/OVAKTf.jpg
This will allow you to use all of your translated strings. If you leave the setting as “Custom” then the plugin will use all of the text you saved on the “Form” and “Email” tabs as strings.
The empty translation files for a few languages were added by request in order to make translating the registrations plugin easier with other plugins that use or create translations (like WPML or Locotranslate).
Hopefully this makes sense! Let me know if you have more questions or if this isn’t what you meant. If you’d like to share a link to your site and send your “System Info” so I can take a look, feel free to do that on our website here: https://roundupwp.com/support/
Hey Tom,
I’m glad you like the plugin and thank you so much for the review! That really helps encourage others to try out the plugin as well so it’s greatly appreciated.
There is a setting on the “Form” tab to switch between “Custom” messages and “Translation” messages. Right now the confirmation message can not be both customized and translated but we are working on a better way to handle this.
Let me know if you have more questions or if this doesn’t seem to solve your issue!
Hey again Hanita,
You can do this with a bit of JavaScript. Take a look at this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/registration-form-54/
I hope you’re having a great weekend!
Hey bodie8,
Glad you were able to get this working like you needed!
You are correct with the odd discrepancy. I’m guessing that you have registrations disabled by default? There is an issue with the WordPress function for “meta queries” that makes it unreliable when looking for meta data (which we use to indicate whether or not registrations should be used for an event) that doesn’t exist. This causes some events to be included in the original database query that shouldn’t be displayed so they get filtered out as the events are displayed on the page. This causes the discrepancy.
I might add a workaround for this in the future but prefer using WordPress functions. It is a bit odd and annoying in some situations though.
Sorry for the technical explanation but hopefully that makes sense!
Hey again,
Version 2.0.3 includes a German translation file for you to use. You should be able to update the plugin to get the changes. Let me know if you have any more questions!
– Craig
Hey bodie8,
You can make a simple edit to the source code to do this. You would want to open up the file class-rtec-admin-registrations.php in the folder inc/admin/
Find line 25 and change the number “10”:
private $posts_per_page = 10;You’ll need to make this change every time you update. If enough people are interested, however, I will make a setting to change this.
Let me know if you have more questions!
Thanks,
It looks like this thread has been quiet for awhile. Were you able to find the option to disable the notification emails? I’ll close this topic but let me know if you need more help!
Hey hanita14,
Glad you like the plugin! It looks like the easiest thing to do would be to supply the appropriate translation file for German. I’ll go ahead and add the file and push out an update next week.
Let me know if you have any questions in the mean time!
Hey dev grl,
Yes this is possible! There is a setting for this on the “Email” tab “Disable Notification Email” you can select.
I’m glad you’re getting lots of people to sign up for your events it sounds like.
Let me know if you have more questions!
– Craig
No worries Arno! I’m glad we were able to resolve this. I can see how others may be confused about needing to use the proper field for the confirmation emails to work. I’ll have to address this in an update. This would affect both versions.
Let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks,
Craig
Hey Arno,
Ahh you must be using the “Pro” version. Sorry I was thinking you were using the “free” version which works differently when creating a form.
Did you create a new “Email” field using the field creator? Only the official “Email” field that is available when you first install the plugin can be used to send confirmation emails. I’m guessing you created a second field that you are trying to use as an email field. Does that sound like it’s the case? I can help you translate this another way with a JavaScript snippet but you would want to use the same “Email” field for all forms.
The moderators of this forum prefer that we handle support for the “Pro” version on our website. I can follow up with you there although I haven’t seen a contact form submission come through from you just yet. Let me know if you sent one and it didn’t seem to work for some reason.
Hey again Arno,
When you say you have a version of the form in French, how are you creating it? Would you be able to send me a link to an event page as an example? Would you mind if I tried submitting a test registration if so?
Also, it would still be helpful to see your “system info” if you wanted to send that to me in the contact form. https://roundupwp.com/support/
Thanks,
Craig
Hey Arno,
Sorry for the trouble here! Would it be possible for you to tell me more about what changes you’re making to your form that are causing the confirmation emails to not send? Are you still seeing the registration on the “Registration” tab and getting a notification email?
You could also send me your “system info” from the “Support” tab of the settings page here: https://roundupwp.com/support/
If you are still receiving a notification email and are able to see the registration in the back-end of your site, the email might be sending but not making it to the inbox. We have a FAQ about how this can be fixed as well: https://roundupwp.com/faq/my-confirmationnotification-emails-are-missing/
Thanks!
