Appreciate that heads-up on the Health Check plugin mate – it’s great.
Yep, I can confirm, it wasn’t 4.9.2 at all.
The MAJOR slowdown was being caused by a plugin called Easy Social Share Buttons.
I deleted it, got rid of all old options and the site is LIGHTNING fast.
Apologies for the red herring on 4.9.2 – all is now good!
@dashpatel21 – I’m seeing sporadic slowdown on my site after 4.9.2 also.
Not as severe as yours, but occasional page loads of 15 seconds+, when they’ve been 2 seconds until 4.9.2 was auto-updated.
I’ve been working through lots of stuff, but still not found the fault yet.
Will keep you posted.
Here’s another thread mentioning slow down too – it’s very weird.
Thanks for taking a look Steve. The TTFB seen there is due to the fact the site serves cached files to non-logged in members.
It’s a fair bit slower when serving to logged-in users.
It’s so weird though – doesn’t seem to be all the time.
There were some php updates on the server a couple of nights back, so it could be those – but in general the server is still fast, until it is serving WP pages.
That’s what made me think something in 4.9.2 could be a cause.
I’ve seen a couple of people post that their site was slower after 4.9.2.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Column Shortcodes] Side by side in mobileImages will always stack on top of each other on mobile. It’s simply the theme being responsive and is expected behaviour.
@grimmdude – AMAZING! Thank you! π
@florizelmedia – I’m seeing this too.
I’ve reported it over on GitHub too. π
Here’s a link to the forum post I’ve made in the Google Analyticator forum too:
@amboutwe – consider it done!
https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/5738
I’ll also alert SumoMe about this too.
Like I say, it only started since WP SEO 3.6 dropped, so I’m guessing something has changed with Yoast.
Will report back if I hear anything from SumoMe.
The Google Analyticator plugin is active on more than 300,000 sites, so it’s pretty important to get this sorted.

Thank you!

In reply to: [Analyticator] Dashboard data doesn't update properlyThanks Tracey – yeah, just cleared the cache and now new data is coming in.
Not sure if I’ll have to do this all the time though either. Hopefully not.
Will report back in a week or so!

In reply to: [Analyticator] Dashboard data doesn't update properlyJust to confirm, the dashboard widget still shows data from August for me in the 30 Days view.
Doesn’t seem to scrape up-to date data anymore. It used to.
The issue here for me was with payPal.
The IPN was merely queued for a few hours.
As soon as the backlog was cleared, all payments and IPN’s were received by WC and orders processed as expected.
Check your IPN log in your PP account.
Just for the record on my PayPal IPN history page, I can see the IPN is queued.
Now I don’t know if this is because it hasn’t been sent – or if it was sent and couldn’t be accepted by WC.
The IPN looks perfect though and I have the correct receiving email address set up in WC.
Will keep you guys posted.
Log into Paypal, switch to classic view and then select ‘History’ —> IPN History to check your own calls. See what was sent, failed or queued.
Hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of this.

I have just noticed this issue today.
This happened on WC 2.4.5 – just updated to WC 2.4.6 and will see if this fixes it.
Which version are you guys running?
It has been fine for months and months.
This would be a superb addition to BBPress core.
