In reply to: Inheriting from child themes?Same issue here. I’m trying to create a child theme of the Genesis Enterprise theme that in itself is a child of the Genesis framework. When I point the style.css to enterprise, WordPress complains about the fact that “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “enterprise” parent theme”. When I point it to a theme that’s not a child of another theme (like twentyten), everything works.
I’m using WP 3.0.2 and Genesis framework 1.4.

I noticed the same slowdown on my website this week, and traced it to the Twitter Tools plug-in – once I disabled it, the site was back up to speed. I think Twitter was still up (I never saw the fsockopen error), but responding slow.
A sleep or throttle functionality would be great!
