😀 Many thanks HandySolo. Everything’s ok now.
I have to say that “Kitchen Sink” was not an obvious for me. 😉
    Have a nice day!

    Nope. I’ll try that.

    Doesn’t work. 🙁
The only options I see are: Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Unordered and Ordered List, Blockquote, Align, Insert link, Unlink, Insert image, Insert more tags, Spellchecker, Fullscreen mode and Kitchen Sink. That’s all.

    Yes, I had 1.5.2 and now I use 2.5.1
Sorry, HandySolo, but how do you clear this browser’s cache? (Firefox 2.0.0.14)

    Thanks again.

    Thanks HandySolo! 🙂

I don’t understand why this option was unchecked. It’s the first time I go there.

I have the Bold or Italic options but how can I get the others options like Underlined, Paragraph, etc.?

    Thank (again) in advance.

My friends, it works! 🙂 I am a beginner and for me, ‘FTP’ looks like an motor oil brand name. So, imagine CHMOD, etc.
I changed the ‘mod’ of the style.css file through my FTP client, then go to the Presentation Panel/Template Editor, makes some modifications, and TA-DA, the note ‘If this file was writable you could edit it’ disappears, and a cute ‘Update Files’ button appears. Now I see the message ‘File edited successfully’. Thank you so much.
ps. I chmod the file for the value 666. For a security reason, do I have to re-chmod after the modifications to the initial value (644)?

Sorry to bother you with this problem again. I waste a lot of time on that. 🙁
I’ve never been able to modify the style.css file in the Presentation Panel/Theme Editor. I tried all advices: clean the browser’s cache, use Firefox Web Developer, and so on.
It’s frustrating because I believe that WordPress is wonderful to manage a blog, but maybe for a more advanced user 🙂 I thought that it could be possible to modify dynamically the template or CSS file through the Presentation Panel. I’m wrong. Sorry again and thank to you for trying to help me.

Thanks to all of you. But may be I missed something.

Have I to modify the style.css file through FireFTP (for example), then upload that new modified file on the hosting server? Am I right?
I also install a Firefox extension named Web Developer 0.9.3; is this useful for this task?

    Hi,

I’m a very newbie in that field.
I don’t know how to set up the username and password in the wp_config_sample.php file.
I have a cpanel with my webhost.

Thank in advance for any help.
