In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Add location column in Job DasboardHey. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Do you also know how to add a column that displays the location field please?
Many Thanks
Stephen
Hello, My job advertisers are having the same issue. They cannot edit a job once it has been submitted. They can edit a job when it is in draft. Oddly the problem does not occur for me as the website admin. This is a quite problem for my users, as you can imagine, as they can’t make any changes. Any help is gratefully received.
Thanks
Stephen

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] List more than 10 recordsArrrh! Why is it that I never seem to get a proper response from your support. I’ve paid for the software and I find it bizzare that you have responded quiuker to this thread than on you office support ticket system.
I don’t want to add featured listings. I just want to increase the number of listing on the inventory page to a number that I can determine.
10 listings is way too low. There’ plenty more space on a page to allow for more listings. Can you just tell me where I can change the default setting from 10 to another number of my choosing. I would have thought that the pagination function would have allowed this to be edited, but that would be too straight-forward I suppose.
I probably sound quite annoyed. I’m not usually like this but using this software and dealing with support is like walking through mud.
Please tell me how to change the default figure of 10. Even if it means me changing a line in the code. Please tell me where I can find it.

Why do you keep closng my tickets when they are unresolved.
I opened a ticket as you instructed above and you have not responded to it. I’m a customer who has paid the the full version and just can’t get this Plugin to work properly. I am unable to display listing on the front end of the website and you ‘how-to’ videos on YouTube are just riculously fast. Why you would speed up such a technical video I have no idea. It’s impossible to follow.
I have paid for support so please provide it.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Change default ‘Title fieldAre you even attempting to try and understand what I am trying to say? Your first line of your last post implies that you have no idea what I’ve been trying to say to over numerous posts in this thread. I even refered to your own screen shot to illustare my point but you still arn’y making the logical connections.
HOW DOES A VISITOR KNOW WHAT TO INPUT IN THE FIRST FIELD OF A FORM WHEN THE PROMPT JUST SAYS “TITLE”.
What is so compliced about my question that you just won’t address the issue?
Regarding your earlier post. NO it is not obvious, for reasons I have stated many times.
Imagine these fields in a form:Title:
Material:
Colour:
Weight:Now tell me what does a user enter into the ‘Title’ field? You don’t know do you? AND THAT’S MY POINT. CAN YOU NOT SEE? I’ve never had such a conversation on the internet.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Listing type not showingWas this resolved. I am having the same problem. I just can’t get UListing to work and the videos on YouTube don’t help as they are way too fast. Speeded up beyond belief.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Change default ‘Title fieldHello Thanks for getting back to me, but I think we are going round in circles. Your last screenshot illustrates my point completley, yet I’m not sure you understand the point I am trying to make. Let me try again…
The second field in your screenshot is prefixed with the word “Bedrooms”. Anyone reading that will probably understand that they are expected to type in the number of bedrooms e.g. 19, as you have done.
Now go back to the first field which is prefixed witht the word “Title”. How do people know what this means… What type of information is expected of them? No one knows. And that’s the problem. Does that explain where I am coming from?
I know how to add additional attributes, but that does not solve the confusion that the first field presents to people. No one knows what ‘Title’ refers to.
Please try to put yourself in the position of someone filling in the form. Would you know what information to enter into the first field?
Regards
Stephen

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Change default ‘Title fieldHello,
Thanks for getting back to me. The screenshot you have included does not seem to address the issue. It’s taken from within the backend of WordPress, where any admin would already know what type of information is required in the ‘Title’ field.
My issue is with the front end view. Was this not apparent from my previous posts? How are people supposed to know what to enter into the first field on every form when it’s simply called ‘Title’. See my screenshot.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Change default ‘Title fieldI have puchased the pro version of UListings and your response is just terrible.
Are you seriously saying that it’s not possible to change the initial form field descriptor from the dafault text of ‘Title’ to something else that will indicate to the user what type of information is required? How are people to know to input? ‘Title’ means nothing to anyone.
And then to tell me that to fix it would be a customisation service, presumably that I’d have to pay for. That’s not something that should be an added service. It should be part of the basic functionality of UListings. I had planed lots of forms and I resent the idea of having to pay money everytime I want to create a new form, just to change the title description text / prompt
I’ve used other form creation tools before and they all include a function that lets me substitute the initial title field descriptor. It’s logical to provide this feature.
I am cusious to know if the developers have actually tried their own software in a real world scenario? If you had, you would have quickly understood the issue and would have addressed it.
I’m really disapointed at the your unwillingness to see how this is a fundamental flaw in the UListin software.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Hide page menusHello,
I still haven’t heard back from anyone about my question above. I am ttying to raise a ticket and do not know how to register an account on Freemius. I have no idea what my Freemius public key is or where to find it.

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Hide page menusI’m getting a bit tied up in knots here. Your last response asks me to use the Support Platform. So I went to the link and I’m presented with a page asking me to ‘Enter your Freemius Public Key’. I don’t know what that is, so I click on the help link that takes me to this page… https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/f-a-q/how-to-activate-plugin-support
Again. I am none the wiser. The pages says..
To obtain the credentials you need to go to Freemius Dashboard > My Profile. Use email (1) and Public key (2) from My profile screen to submit the ticket:So where do I find the ‘Freemius Dashboard’. It doesn’t say. No url links or anything. I’m just trying to work out how to raise a support ticket. Please advise?

In reply to: [Directory Listings WordPress plugin - uListing] Hide page menusThanks, but I’m not sure I have explained myself, or maybe I have misunderstood your instructions. I want to hide the pages from public view so I can work on them. But when I set them to private I can work on them.
Stephen.
