I renamed the file as you suggested and this error showed up

Do I do each one, or try one at a time? I renamed the folder to theme-old but that still wants me to do the config page when I try to access.
Next question, there’s a ‘twentyten’ folder, do I keep that?

I’ll try that, but when I say this is all greek to me it really is. I barely understood how to change the headers within the blog!

In reply to: Media not working (WP 3.4)esmi,
I couldn’t even access my admin panel, nothing worked. I had to upload a new version of 3.4 just to get into the admin panel. From there it would not accept any media. My host company said something probably got messed up in the update and new upload so do a fresh upload. I did that.
Now it wants me to do what’s on this page http://richkesslerdesigns.com/blog/wp-admin/setup-config.php?step=1
Fine, I’ve done that, probably 30 times. It will NOT progress pasta blank ‘step 2’ page. Only after I highlight the url and click it does it tell me the Prefix cannot be blank. I have entered so many words that I’m running out of ones to use and it still gives me that error message.
It seems to me the install worked on my end, right now it’s all on WP since they’re the ones giving me this error message, which according to people here (in the other thread) say it doesn’t matter what word follows wp_

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckbecause the update started this whole mess. i was advised earlier to upload a new version of 3.4 to my server.

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckI’ve done that. It says wp_ right now and I’ve added every word I can think of after that, nothing works.

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckanother reason i might be done with WP. They offer ZERO support. I’m not hiring someone for something the 3.4 update screwed up in the first place.

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckYes. I started here http://richkesslerdesigns.com/blog/wp-admin/setup-config.php and filled everything out according to my cPanel and it won’t let me proceed until the table prefix is filled in. I’m really, REALLY pulling my hair out over this thing. If I post all my server info here can someone log in and fix it?

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckIf someone tells me what the table prefix should say then perhaps it will work. WP doesn’t like anything I’ve used.

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckThat’s why I’m in this mess, wp is trying to create the file and it refuses to work. I’ve never had a program work this bad before. I can see why WP format have a dedicated support email or.phone number.

In reply to: Tried a fresh 3.4 install. Now I'm stuckit keeps telling me the Table Prefix cannot be empty. Currently it has wp_ in there. What?!?!

In reply to: Media not working (WP 3.4)Okay, that’s all Greek to me. I don’t know what I need to do to make this thing work, but I have a very important post that I need to have up on Friday and attaching images are a MUST!
What the hell do I do?
[No bumping. If it’s that urgent, consider hiring someone.]
