Hi again ProjectArmy, thank you for the help!

I have to be honest with you: I have no idea what I’m doing haha.
After gooling what it was, I got into cPanel and found the wp-login.php using the File manager.

Now that I have access to the files, what would be -in your opinion- the next step?

Thanks again for the help (and specially for the patience!)

    Hi

A little update on this: I should have googled it instead of askinga about the default URL for the admin site. However I tried with whatever URLs I found but none of them worked.

    Hi ProjectArmy,

Thank you for trying to help me out with this!

Yes, the url that’s giving me trouble is:
    https://aratingailhagrande.com.br/2014/wp-admin/

    (it’s basically the B&B website plus “2014/wp-admin/”)

I asked the owner and she’s not aware of any security plugins but unfortunately we have no idea how wordpress works as the website was created by other people and we just do small changes here and there to it (holiday rates, packages, etc).

I read the help article in the link you provided but I have 3 questions:

    1) Is there something like a default WP admin url?
I’m thinking that maybe the update changed the url we used to have and now it’s back to the default url, which would explain why we are getting the 404 error.

    2) Can I get to that file if I can’t even access my WP admin website?
In my really small knowledge of WP I’m assuming it’s not like you install a software on the pc and then you can go through the files offline as it looks you do everything from the WP admin website.

    3) If I manage to get my hands on that file, is there any possibility that I’ll mess up with the website in any way?
I never touched WP as the owner told me she once did something by mistake and had to restore the website from scratch.

Thanks again for your time and help,

Can someone please help me?? I am desperate!
    My whole website has disappeared.

    http://www.aratingailjahrande.com.br

I was advised that I needed to update my WordPress to version 4.2.2
I tried to do this by clicking on the Update button at the top of my Admin page.
To my horror, my whole site disappeared and I can’t work out how to find it again. This is the message that appears when I try to ope my website:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_avatar_url() (previously declared in /home/aratinga/public_html/2014/wp-includes/link-template.php:3414) in /home/aratinga/public_html/2014/wp-content/themes/aratinga/functions.php on line 453

I hope all is not lost!
    Rennie
