I get the same thing, but not on all pages, only some. Thought it was a sub page issue, but a few did work. Not sure what that wheel does, never paid attention to it. It worked fine on all the products, but now on the content pages it’s not taking.
Not sure other than my former developer installed it wrong…
Any thoughts?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingajamm,
Thanks, but there really seems to be absolutely no solution to this. Very frustrating. Nothing sends to customers, they cannot “contact us” from the contact page, nothing but complaints from customers that our New Wonderful Shopping Site, simply just sucks. I never had one complaint about our old site in three years. It may be free, but with this thing, you get what you pay for – NOTHING.
WORST SHOPPING SYSTEM EVER!!Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [WooCommerce] WORST SHOPPING CART EVERMike, I read the thread, and it seems no one does get emails since there are dozens and dozens of complaints that they don’t work.
I have done all that, and still nothing. I have checked and re checked all settings, email addresses, etc. WE got an email for the first two orders, then nothing – Like some other guy in that thread who still has no emails as we do. So it’s not so obvious that people get emails, rather more obvious that they don’t. Find me some one who’s email works and prove me wrong….
Simply stated, why does it work and then stop and never work again. There’s obviously something very wrong and there’s no one who knows how to fix it. It is something any other shopping I’ve used cart can do, why not this one? I was told by my developer that this is the best for word press (and I love word press), but it’s unfortunate this does not work as it should. It’s like having a car but the wheels won’t turn and the mechanic just says, it’s not my problem.Just very frustrating that I am stuck having to manually write down orders from the website, when I should be able to print out a “New order” email and process it.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WORST SHOPPING CART EVERPatrick, Jan
I have spoken to my developer about this and he INSISTS you are in correct, and I agree since our email is handle and hosted by network solutions which has absolutely nothing do do with the hosting platform.
It seems A LOT of people have this issue, and I’ve never had any sort of problem with any other cart so why doesn’t WOO just fix this instead of passing the buck? I mean email is not that complicated as described on the woo documents. It almost seems like someone put all that nonsense there so people get tired of reading and give up.
I AM SADLY DISAPPOINTED – AND NOW STUCK – WITH WOO COMMERCE.
EVEN ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH OF A RATING.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [WooCommerce] WORST SHOPPING CART EVERJan,
Thanks for the info. However this is a very fair review. After an entire month of no solutions and countless posts on forums with no support from WOO Commerce, it is all I can say. I had a seemingly inferior cart before and it did all the simple things this “top of the line” cart cannot do.
Spoken to my developer and he swears it not the host who sends the mail and continues to tell me its fixed and it isn’t. I don’t kknow who to believe but i do know
WOO COMMERCE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingIt is beyond frustrating. I thought we previously had the worst shopping cart ever (MAL-E’s) since it couldn’t coneect with ecommerce analytics, but at least it could tell you when you had an order!
This might not be so bad if you could print a legible order from the cart but the orders are so convoluted, it makes no sense to do that.
It’s like having tires on a car that don’t spin. Something so basic and WOO has no resolution for it. All they say is use the plug in that doesn’t work.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingHi Shiyam,
Same problem since the day I started using this. Woo says it’s an smtp sever issue, and suggest a plug in. Doesn’t work.
Bottom line is, it does not nor will it ever work correctly and I have given up and have to spend a lot of time manually imputing orders via pen and paper.
I suggest looking for another cart it seems A LOT of people have this issue and Woo is obtuse in realizing and correcting it.
If I find a solution ( a better cart) I’ll post. If you find the answer let us know!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingThanks, I forwarded him the response. I saw there are plug ins that do the same, but noted some have tried and not been successful, so I haven’t gone there yet since i’m not sure it will help.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingMarcelo, We had no problem getting emails in the past on our old cart (Mal’s Connected to WordPress). Just switched to the new WOO Commerce platform and switched hosting as well. I believe the server is Apache if that helps. I forwarded your questions to our host/developer so he may understand more clearly than I. Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingMarcelo, Thanks for the tip. I did set up a contact page, but i do not get emails from it. This is ANOTHER problem I didn’t even think of!
So does that mean it’s a WOO problem or email/Hosting problem?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce email notifications not workingI spent the past three hours reading the threads. Just got Woo Commerce on our new site, it’s live and no emails. Tried @yujisato solution, no luck and don’t see any resolution from any plug in. I am in the same boat as tproctor. it’s a simple feature, ,but no one at WP has gotten back to me and I’m ready to install another cart.
Any new discoveries in the past two days?
