I am having a similar issue. I upgraded to WP 3.0.1 and now I don’t see content in my admin section. I see the navigation bar on the left and the URLs are fully qualified when I click on each navigation item, but nothing appears in the content area.
The site itself is viewable, I just can’t see anything in the admin area when I’ve logged in as an administrator.

OK, I have installed this plug-in and it works as expected, but there’s a problem. The Category Description is also used as the TITLE for the category navigation link, so there’s now HTML in the link!
Is there a way to extend the plugin so it overrides what is return to the “wp_list_categories” call and strips out the HTML in that situation specifically?
