I really appreciate you sticking this out with me.
Under Default Post Category my only options are:
Getting Started
Inspiration
Recipes
& Uncategorized
So I think that’s why I had it set on Uncategorized because otherwise it goes to a specific category and I want it to just go to the most recent blog posts.The Default Link Category is set to blogroll which is the only option available.
I thought I might be able to create a category for recent blog posts but I don’t see a way to input a specific link for that.
Do you have any other recommendations?

And, in step 2, what changes do I make in permalinks before I click save?

I followed your directions and when I added that url to the blog menu url section and click on that exact link you gave me after saving it in the menu, it still takes me to the parasites page. However, when I click on it above where you posted, or if I just paste that link in my browser, it takes me to the correct location.
How strange is that?!
I think the blog is designated somewhere else, maybe in code, to go to that static post but I can’t figure out where to change the designation.
Is there another location to change the designation of where “blog” directs?

No, I would like to keep my static home page as is.
However, I’d like to change the blog navigation in the menu bar, so when people click on Blog, it will navigate them to the most recent posts instead of the static page you pasted above, which is where the Blog link takes people now.
I tried deleting the blog link altogether and starting fresh, but when I recreated it, it still takes people to that static blog post.
Do you know of a fix for this?

Is there a way to change the navigation on that “blog” page setup? For the life of me, I cannot remember how I set it to go to the static page and I can’t find a way to change it back.
Or do I just need to delete that “blog” page and start over?
