I agree they should fix it or downgrade, what even worse is that we have no respond from the wordpress guys about this massive failure.
The photo and media management are also broken, total failure
My stuff stopping working too after the update and im running a magazine with heavy traffic, severely disappointed by the wordpress team
My 2.8 went completely crazy too, noting wants to work, and severalplugina have stop working.
