In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Can’t change Catalog visibility: Hidden@merkucio Hello!
The ‘Ticket’ is supposed to be hidden and there is a reason for this. In and of itself, the Ticket product has no meaning. It only has a ‘meaning’ to purchase when associated with a specific event.
For example, if you directly bought a ‘Ticket’product, it would not have an actual ticket attached for an event. It would just be a WooCommerce Product.
Only when it is purchased through an Event does an actual Ticket get issued. THis is because the Ticket products are used in Price Structures for an event.
Example:
Ticket Product – $5 Matinee Weekday
Ticket Product – $8 Matinee Weekend
Ticket Proudct – $10 Weekday
Ticket Product – $15 Weekend. You could build a price structure for ‘Weekday’ and ‘Weekend’ and use those price structures to assign to specific events.
Perhaps Thursday has a matinee and evening and Friday has matinee and evening, so each one can be used for that specific event. (You choose price structure on the event)
As you can see, without being used IN an event, the ticket has no meaning, which is why only EVENTS are on the Calendar, not Tickets. You click the event, and then the event has the price structure for that events ticket purchase.
Upon purchase a specific unique ticket is created and assigned BASED on the underlying Ticket Product, but you don’t buy the Ticket Product directly. (ever)
Hope this help explain.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Can’t assign a ticket to an Event AreaHey Pedro,
Thank you for the kind words regarding the plugin! Let’s get right into it.
1. First you have to create the ticket that you would like to select for the Event Area. When you’re at the Dashboard, navigate to the menu on the left and scroll down until you see “Products.” From there you’ll create a new product(ticket) and setup the pricing structure for it. After you’re done that, you should be able to select it in the Edit Event Area page.
2. Rather than type up a wall of text, there are some very comprehensive step-by-step videos that will answer the second question for you(as well as give you a visual for the first question). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkMY4gcpFUI
There are a bunch more very helpful videos that are all accessible from – https://opentickets.com/videos/
Hope this helps and please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Ticket and event disjoinedHello @bruttougo ,
I think the issue is that you need to put the Child Event link into your 3rd party calendar.
The ‘ticket product’ by itself has no meaning. It is only when purchased through and event link that an event ticket is issued.
So look on the Event Page, and find the Child Event Link (specific Event link), not the Ticket Product or Parent Event.
That should solve your issue. Please let us know if you need more information.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] different outcomes of qrcodeHi There,
The qr codes are meant to be validated with our software… not external software. our software reads the code, and validates the data inside the code. external softwares just do a ‘is it exactly this’ match. they are simply not the same type of check we do.
It will require a completely rework of how the code is generated before an external, non-logged in ‘dumb’ match will work. We hope this was helpful and let us know if you have any further questions.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] different outcomes of qrcodeHello There,
We are a little unclear as to the issue. However what we can understand is that you have QR codes appearing in your report which should not be happening at all. Could you please provide us images or even better a video to what the problem is so we can have a better understanding on how we can assist and resolve your issue. Thank you so much.
