We recently removed the Gizmo font requirement from the plugin, so this should not be a problem any more.

At the moment, the HTML album art works as follows.
- if the episode has a featured image that is square, then use that
- if the episode belongs to a series, which has an image that is square, then use that
- if the feed settings have an image that is square, then use that
- none of the above passed, return the no-album-art image
So in order to use your featured image as the album art, please upload a square featured image. Otherwise, it will use the series image or the feed image.
We are working on a future update where it will be possible to upload a separate album art image, to the featured image, so that you can use the featured image for the post, and the album art image for the player.

If you would like to test this with us and help confirm that this issue is resolved, please see beta installation instructions below.
Go to https://github.com/CastosHQ/Seriously-Simple-Podcasting/releases/tag/2.5.2-beta
Click on the seriously-simple-podcasting.2.5.2-beta.zip link, to download the beta plugin. Please don’t download any of the source code options.
Go to the Plugins list in your WordPress Dashboard
If you are using a version of WordPress older than 5.5, please deactivate and delete the existing plugin (this will not delete your podcasts or podcast settings)
Click the Add new button
Click the Upload Plugin button
Click Browse, and select the beta version of the plugin to install it, then click Install Now
If you are using a version of WordPress equal to or newer than 5.5, and you didn’t deactivate and delete the older version, WordPress will warn you that the plugin is already installed, click Replace current with uploaded
Once the new version is uploaded, please activate it as normalPlease let me know if this resolves the current issues you are experiencing

For now, rolling back to 2.4.2 is your best bet. We should have the update out in the next few days.
