I have been doing several tests, and apparently, the reproductions are not recorded in any of the audio players of any of my pages (I have 4 podcasts in different websites) I tried with the default player and with the htlm, also with unknown connections, with different browsers and plays are not logged.

I have the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of the plugin, apparently the problem comes from version 2.5 of the plugin.

I just installed beta version 2.5.2 and it also does not fix this problem, the reproductions in the blog player are not recorded in the statistics. The reproductions in the podcast players (Apple Podcasts) do work.

Same issue here, it also greatly slows down the page where the player is embedded to the point where images take up to 30 seconds or more to load.

Could I ask that you log this as an issue in our plugin repository here https://github.com/CastosHQ/Seriously-Simple-Podcasting/issues

Please add as much information as possible, that way we can investigate the issue and see what the problem might be.
